I made this iPad background using the Procreate app on my iPad. I traced over Tolkien's original Lonely Mountain drawing to create a transparency layer which I then overlaid on a vellum-style backdrop. I don't tend to like very complex backgrounds on my iPad, so I designed this one to be quite minimalist. It's nothing fancy, but I thought some of you might like it, maybe

Loved Guardians of the Galaxy! Less action than Avengers, but much more heart. Both are awesome and I refuse to pick a favorite (so I’ll let you fight about it). ALSO, I had avoided seeing the trailer for the last Hobbit film (because I never want PJ to stop making Middle Earth films) and I got ridiculously emotional when I heard Billy Boyd singing “Mist and Shadow”…
