Ahhh, yes…
Found my old program from when I saw Much Ado About Nothing with David and Catherine in London. David didn’t come out to sign things that day (or had left super-fast), but I got Catherine’s signature ☺️
Tonight’s Bill (2015) earworm. And yes, the chair scrape is included..
The moodiest pictures of TJ I’ve seen in a while. From the Tudor Jobs sketch, but could honestly be from some edgy Shakespeare production that I would have loved to have seen on stage
Closing out my Beyond the Fringe favorite bits series with my favorite bits from their satire on Shakespeare, a wonderful sketch called “So That’s the Way You Like It”
Benedict Cumberbatch as Richard III!!! CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT!!!
Passing the Richard III statue in Leicester this afternoon, I noticed that some Lancastrian red roses had been placed there rather than the more usual white House of York roses. Closer examination revealed that they’d been left by a Henry VII fan, who’s probably a bit disgruntled at all the attention that Richard III is getting these days.
This actually makes me quite upset. People are so misled by what Shakespeare has recorded about the two men (especially Ricahrd III). I hope someone replaced the roses with those of the house of York. RIP Richard.
FEELING EXCITED!
Oh yeah! Just bought myself an ONSTAGE ticket for Richard III at Trafalgar Studios at 2:30 on Thursday! Oh, and it's starring Martin Freeman, did I forget to mention that?
What did you think of our cast list? Cast your own production in the comments, or make a video response! ALSO, feel free to tweet this to anyone we mentioned. LET'S MAKE THIS DREAM DREAM HAPPEN! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygodhtwxkew
Perfect for all those #nerdfighters looking for that awesome Shakespearean insult!
That's right, folks, THIS IS SHAKESPEARE!!!
Getting ready to relive this epicosity in February. Honestly, people, SEE THIS SHOW! It was amazing in London, and looks to be just as sweet at BAM!
Kevin Spacey as Richard III at The Old Vic in London. Perhaps the best piece of theatre I have ever seen. GO GET RETURN SEATS NOW!
A man wrote in his will that he wanted his skull to be used in a RSC production of Hamlet. And who gets to hold it? Why the lovely David Tennant, of course! Who else would you want holding your skull if not the tenth (and, to my mind, best) Doctor Who?!
