2- top five games you've played
Okay this is going to suffer a bit from recency bias but I truly feel, in no particular order, Hades, Pokémon White 2, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, Kirby’s Epic Yarn OR Return to Dreamland, impossible to choose, and prooooobably Overwatch 2. It’s so hard to choose because I’ve played hundreds of video games and there are sooo many that I love. And don’t ask me to even rank those five between themselves because other than OW2 being #5 on the list the rest are all so fucking good
Actually a full day later and I this question is still bothering me so here’s another five based on the games that I keep going back to and replaying all these years later. I imagine these also might be of some use for compiling my psychological profile once The Killings start;
1) Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies (This game alone is probably my second most played game of all time behind BotW. I did the math and during a ten month period in high school, I spent almost 6 hours a day, or 25% of my life, playing DQIX. And I still didn’t 100% it)
2) Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (Yes I think Dawn is superior to Aria. No I won’t explain myself. Yes I still remember the Cinquedia + Succubus room skip glitch)
3) Metroid Fusion (I mean c’mon. She is the moment. It and Dread are, I think, the highlights of the entire series.)
4) Digimon World Dawn and Dusk (Yeah they stole the whole two linked games thing from Pokémon but Pokémon ended up stealing Dawn and Dusk’s time-of-day gimmick for Sun and Moon so smd. These are also the only Digimon games I ever 100%ed! Which took a loooooong time.)
5) Banjo-Tooie (Yeah, yeah, I know it’s a bit overrated but I truly played it soooooo much as a kid. My N64 still works and I still replay it from time to time. Not Banjo-Kazooie, though, fuck Rusty Bucket Bay with a chainsaw.)
