asking because im curious: do people with ppd get a favorite person? i know people with bpd are often the ones to have a favorite person (i know bc i have bpd with a favorite person lol), but my partner has ppd and also has a favorite person, so i was just wondering. i dont think she has bpd and it has been clear she wasnt misdiagnosed, so i am just curious to hear what could be said. thanks :)
A good chunk of personality disorders have their own version of a FP, they just have different terms! For PPD it’s trusted person, or TP for short. So yes, you can have your own FP even if you don’t have BPD but have a different PD, it’s just going to have a different name.
