Papyton Week Day 6 & 7: Music & Smooch
"A little bit less than we might like/ I know this ain't heaven/ It's close enough for me" ~ Tim Curry, "Something Short of Paradise"
Where Papyrus looks for order in a world full of chaos, Mettaton is content to let chaos be chaos and, yet, Mettaton still looks for meaning in the disarray.
No. There may never be order in Mettaton’s world. There may not be a pattern. There may not be a puzzle, a painting, or a picture. But, there is something.
I know Papyton Week is *technically* over, but it is still Papyton Week in my heart. Actually, I just hadn't finished this, and I wanted to give the folks who run the Papyton week blog credit for the prompts. It was an incredible week that was lots of fun, so I wanted to give credit where credit is due.
I hope y'all had as much fun as I did because I had a blast. I plan to reblog more stuff now that I'm not so deep in writer brain that I can't get out.
Much love to y'all.
this was so cute! I love the deep introspection you give these characters.
