This card was such a thrill to work on. I was really inspired by the colors of Stev'nn Hall’s paintings (check them out, they’re just gorgeous, though the ones I like best are the 2015 paintings). I wanted to make something really vibrant, especially since it’s in the Fade. All the color made this very challenging, but I’m so happy with how it turned out!

A lot of people who’ve been reblogging my last Solas comic have been tagging with a lot of hurt and pain. I forget sometimes how wide-spread depression is. I know I used Dragon Age and other stories as a crutch in my weak moments. Sometimes it feels like these characters are the only ones who believe in you to get through everything.
Stay strong. Everyone believes in you.

Wasn’t feeling all that well last night so I cut the worst of the drawings from the batch. These are the ones that made the cut. Hope to see you all again next Friday! Thanks everyone who asked if I was okay after Friday’s stream, I’m sorry I didn’t post these sooner. I am fine, I just was too tired to post these that night (which if you were there for the stream, you’d understand, ha ha), and the day after I was babysitting and this was much lower priority.
Thanks everyone who came. This will likely be the last drunken doobles. I’ll still be livestreaming requests on Fridays, but from now on I will be mostly sober. (If you’re curious why, message me if you want, it’s no big secret just too much to post here). Hope to see you guys next Friday!
