This is the album cover for The Council, a sprawling, non-centralized organization existing in clusters; they hunt supernatural beings that threaten humanity, though they have a tendency to become corrupt. We focus on an Alaskan faction in our story.
It's a short playlist right now, but we're adding to it.
for everyone who likes to see wips, i'm working on another album cover, this time for the council's playlist (will drop more info on them in the final post) but they're like a supernatural hunting cult.
Story: Jaime has been tortured by Ace and Eli, twin brothers, for nearly a decade. Jaime and Ace have a very complicated romance; he loves Ace but also deeply hates him for the seemingly endless pain, torture, and terror he's put him through. Tristan loves Ace and Eli like they're his sons. He wants revenge for what Jaime has done to them. So, there's a lot I want to change about this, but it's time to move on. Nothing is on model. I am so rusty at gestures because I've been drawing almost nothing but tarot cards for the last five-odd years. I need a ton more practice to loosen up again and start doing more quality work, but this was a great start. I am going to make more OC animatics, and I can't wait to share them with you all.
Drana
The Moon
I'm feeling much better about this version of the Drana card. All I really know about her character is that she's the last Bloodchief and the fate of all vampires is basically resting on her shoulders; the Moon seemed a good fit.

Sorry for the long absence guys, got sick, and then got a big freelance gig right when I was buying a new apartment. Still working on stuff, been posting wips to twitter since it’s a little easier than posting wips here on tumblr, though I’m gonna work on getting them both running at the same time. It’s been such a long two weeks this new year, but there’s moving and shaking at least!

She’s made her choice, and she’s done with Dephora. Vice isn’t all bad.
@KorraDoesKrav’s DnD character Paige. She was a real pleasure to draw. I struggled with the colors a ton to start with, but after a few redos I found a palette I was really into. The materials in this took a lot of time and thought, but I’m so happy with how it all turned out!
Aeval Lavellan: The Lightning Strike
@theaiobhan‘s Inquisitor Aeval who has become more weapon than woman, and wields herself with skill.
This was a really exciting card for me. I knew exactly what I wanted to make the moment I read about this character, she was just such a force and presence. I struggled a lot with Fen’Harel, but in the end I think he tied in really well. It’s fun to just draw a straight up bad-ass when you get the opportunity. A lot of the colors are inspired by Mucha’s work, especially Morning Star.
