omg anyone else read ruth baulding’s fanfictions? I guess I never read that much fics in this fandom before but man this writer is phenomenal…(better late than never?)….. I haven’t read all the Lineage series yet… (slowly savoring it all right now)…but I did read a lot of their other fics… THEY’RE SO GOOD–
This is literally my headcanon for the interaction between Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan… Such witty bantering between the two, and Obi-wan being such twerp or ‘brat’ as Qui-gon calls him… Their dialogue is always gold!
Seriously Obi-Wan being such a philosophical twerp is my new favorite thing… and I love Qui-Gon’s whimsical actions that seems like tyrannical abuse of master privileges to OW, but ends up being ultimately a lesson for his padawan. I just absolutely adore the characterization of the two… HNNNGHHH These fics are like the perfect balance of humour, angst, hurt/comfort…. (oh there are plenty of miscommunication between these two stubborn broody yaks, and plenty of the two getting in a mess where one gets hurt/taken/etc….)
