Malik smacked his head against the underside of the counter in his rush to stand. "Excuse me?"

"I took you out, fed you, and said your eyes were pretty. Did that make you want me carnally?"

Every evening, long after Ra’s light faded from the sky, a little mouse crept out of the palace.

“What are you even supposed to be? An accountant?”

Bakura gently removed Malik’s hand from his face and popped his shirt collar. “Myself, but well-adjusted.”

“That’s not very scary.”

“No, but it is a fantastical creature that doesn’t and will never exist.”

In hindsight, Bakura should have listened to Malik’s warning against eating sushi from a random gas station; but, in his defence, it was cheap and he was starving.

Malik is determined to do everything he can to ensure Bakura wins the title of Most Pathetic Man in Domino City.
