Audrey Hall is an excellent cook, she moved in an little Yorkshire town a couple of years ago to escape a violent marriage. She writes a column for the local newspaper: people confess their love and life tribulations to her and she answers with heartfelt advices and tasty recipes.
Siegfried Farnon is a disgruntled cop in the same Yorkshire town. It's an easy job, nothing ever happens. Until one of Audrey Hall's correspondents ends up dead after confessing alarming things to her in one of the letters.
Now Siegfried and Audrey are forced to collaborate to find the murderer. And, in the meantime, maybe they will also find love.

I'm not sure if it's a popular spec or anything, but I'm pretty sure Siegfried Farnon is neurodivergent (coming from someone with ASD/ADHD).
I love the way his brain works, the way he speaks and how everyone close to him responds. Yes he is frustrating, but nobody loves him any less.
