Gev is a male lizardfolk from Bloomburrow.
Gev's never had a great reputation. Growing up in his home village, he wanted to be an artist, and he'd say he is one today. Instead of a canvas and a brush, his mediums are blades and an attitude. He spent long nights on the road looking for corpses to loot. But things changed once he met the burly Hugs and welcomed him into his line of business. The two became inseparable, not only as mercenaries, but as partners. A badgerfolk hug around the fire or under the stars is the quickest way to warm up in the cold of the night. Gev has softened over the years thanks to Hugs's good influence, though if anyone harms his companion, Gev is sure to introduce them to the working side of his daggers.
I look at this and think this really should have been a fox if they really wanted creatures to fit the 'biome' of Bloomburrow/Valley. And I personally don't want to see Coyote become a common creature type because, for example, they barely use the creature type Jackal as it is. But objectively speaking, Fox would just be a better fit. Hopefully we'll see another Elemental Fox that isn't Zirda.
Gen Con Indy 2024 is next weekend. I like all the purdy prize cards.
But mostly I hope more is revealed regarding Duskmourn. I am getting so hyped on the modern horror set. But I know a lot of MTG there is going to be about Bloomburrow. Still, I want to see what kind of Nightmares and Horrors and Cellarspawn that Duskmourn will have.
These two need to meet up in the next visit to Bloomburrow. Perhaps Glarb already knows Archelos and that's where he runs off to. Glarb's ability works on Archelos if the latter is on the top of your library. Someone play both of them in the same deck!
Wow, for one mana more you get an effect that can possibly trigger each end step instead of an ability that only happens upon entering the battlefield. Toughness on Star Charter is really bad, though.
Just an image showing Magic's white-black enchantments that cost {w}{b}.
But, I'm just saying, Lunar Convocation and Underworld Coinsmith can be friends.
A Kindred anthem and free mana rock with no rider. Usually, these things say to use the mana only to cast creatures of the chosen type. Not this one. Here, you choose your creature type, creatures of the chosen type get +1/+1, and you can tap it for one mana of any color to spend however you want. Not bad.
Realizing that between color identity and the way they're characterized, if Gideon had ever gone to Bloomburrow, he'd absolutely be a mouse (assuming we pick one of the major 10 races and not something less common like Jace got, but work with me here)
It's funny to imagine Gideon still trying to be the party tank in a world where everyone is bigger than he is.
But also imagine the bad guys' surprise when they try to smash this mouse, and they expect the mouse to Blur and get out of the way, but instead the mouse just takes the attack. The dust settles and he's perfectly unharmed like some kind of Tom and Jerry bit.
There may me a better animal to represent Gideon, but there isn't a funnier one
Moonstone Harbinger ~~~ {2}{B}
Creature — Bat Warrior
Flying, deathtouch
Whenever you gain or lose life during your turn, Bats you control get +1/+0 and gain deathtouch until end of turn. This ability triggers only once each turn.
Moonstone weapons drink in the last light of dusk to give their wielders an edge in combat.

Here we go, folks! Moonstone Harbinger is the 101st card of Magic the Gathering's 101st Standard expansion set. I really like the synergy Bloomburrow's Bats have with Lifegain and Lifeloss.
So apparently, Kwain and Archelos are from Bloomburrow, according to Magic's Lead World Designer.
Burrowguard Mentor ~~~ {G}{W}
Creature ~~~ Rabbit Soldier
Burrowguard Mentor's power and toughness are each equal to the number of creatures you control.

A lesser Bunnicorn since it only cares about the number of creatures you control but a Bunnicorn nonetheless.
Joven's Ferrets either needs a reprint or an updated version released. This too cool an ability not to have in green, even as a one off ability since Green usually untaps things.
Bess, Soul Nourisher ~~~ {1}{G}{W}
Legendary Creature — Human Citizen
Whenever one or more other creatures with base power and toughness 1/1 enter the battlefield under your control, put a +1/+1 counter on Bess, Soul Nourisher.
Whenever Bess attacks, each other creature you control with base power and toughness 1/1 gets +X/+X until end of turn, where X is the number of +1/+1 counters on Bess.

Bring on the Offspring!
There's no previous Green-White Rabbits before Bloomburrow, so just remember to consider the one White-Black Bat and Black-Green Squirrel to come before.
Zoraline, Cosmos Caller ~~~ 1{W}{B}
Legendary Bat Cleric
Flying, Vigilance
Whenever a Bat you control attacks, you gain 1 life.
Whenever Zoraline enters or attacks, you pay {W}{B} and 2 life. When you do, return nonland permanent card with mana value 3 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield with a finality counter on it.
