The Overgrown Estate

Let me point out that 'Omnivorous Flytrap' is another alien reference in Duskmourn. I'm sure we're all familiar with Audrey II from "Little Shop of Horrors". Maybe even the alien plants from "Day of the Triffids". They really want to hype players up for the Space Opera set.

'Under the Skin' is another reference to aliens in "Duskmourn: House of Horror". Under the Skin is a science fiction horror movie that stars Scarlett Johansson as an otherworldly woman who preys on men in Scotland. Disguising itself as a human female, an extraterrestrial drives around Scotland attempting to lure unsuspecting men into her van. Once there, she seduces and sends them into another dimension where they are nothing more than meat. This is pretty cool and such a deep cut.

Lumithread Field is an enchantment that gives creature you control +0/+1, has a mana cost 1{W}, and has Morph 1{W}.

And next year Magic is finally going to outer space.

Two alien themed cards. WotC already gearing up for the 'Space Opera' set scheduled to be released around this time next year. It does tell us that there are/were aliens on the plane that was Duskmourn. And while the Fear of Abduction might be big, it only takes a 1 power creature to crew the UFO.
