OOWS' charity commission form is LIVE!

Wahoo- we are finally opening prompts to the wider public- for a donation to our GoFundMe, you will be able to request a Good Omens fanfic or fanart from some of our talented and amazing writers and artists! All proceeds go to Take Back The Night Foundation. This form will be open until December 13th.

Good Omens Charity Comms!

Donations/requests for On Our Own Side Fundraiser's charity comms event are opening on the 13th! We'll be releasing the google form for prompts that day, and you can request commissions with proof of appropriate donation!

Tiers are as follows:

Art Tier 1: $15 for 1 fullbody/2 busts, simple shading

Art Tier 2: $30 for 2 fullbody w/ bg OR 3 fullbody w/ no bg, full shading

Ficlet Tier: $5 for 100-700 words

Fanfic Tier 1: $10 for 700-3000 words

Fanfic Tier 2: $15 for 3000-5000 words

Fanfic Tier 3: $20 for 5000-7000 words

We are opening applications for additional artists and writers to be creators for our open charity comms event starting next week! We have more information in the form below for anyone who's interested in claiming and filling a prompt or so when we open donations:

Searching for Organizers and Moderators

Why hello, Good Omens community! We here at the On Our Own Side fundraiser are looking for some additional organizers for assistance with our upcoming events. If you're interested, take a look below at what exactly we're looking for in a candidate and apply through the google form below!

Hello, hello, hello! We're looking for some new faces to help out with our main organizing team for the fundraiser! We're looking for around 3-4 new organizers and moderators for our team as we head towards a new wave of upcoming events; take a look at the information below. :)

Generally, we're looking for people who are:

Available: For this, mainly we're looking for 1-2 people throughout timezones who are able to help out with our weekly watchalong on Saturdays at 4pm GMT. They would be assisting in chat moderation and posting to social media throughout (mainly timestamping on Twitter.) 

Responsible: Overall, we're also looking for people to assist with various tasks and to-dos throughout the week, between our main weekly meetings on Sundays. We're aware that this can be a larger commitment for many, so please do consider this when applying! 

Creative: We're always looking for more input from artists and writers from within our community as we head towards finalizing decisions for our more creative-focused events! We'd also love to hear some new points of view and ideas from someone new.

Thank you for this very important question: the answer is yes! If you go to our GoFundMe (which we'll attach below,) you can see that our fundraiser is directly linked to Take Back the Night; no money besides the bingo cards (which, once the watchalong is over we'll show the reciepts being donated to our GoFundMe) passes through our own hands. GoFundMe has a general 2.9% service fee to donations, so what you see on our GoFundMe is nearly directly transferred to Take Back the Night!

Our watchalong of episodes 4-6 of Good Omens s1 is about to BEGIN in a half-hour! It's not too late to hop on over to the On Our Own Side Fundraiser discord server and join us! We also still have bingo cards available for purchase here for you to follow along at home (and be entered into a raffle for a small donation to a good cause! Neat-o!)

Hello, hello, hello, folks! We are back again this weekend on the 'Our Own Side Fundraiser' discord server to watch episodes 4-6 of season one of Good Omens! Bingo cards are still available for purchase (and to be entered into a raffle!) here. Applications for 'Bright Star: A Good Omens Charity Fanzine' are now OPEN!

Zine applications are now open! We are extremely excited to begin applications for our Zine portion of the On Our Own Side Fundraiser! All proceeds will be going to 'Take Back the Night,' a charity dedicated to ending and aiding victims of sexual assault and domestic violence.

Some general info about the zine:

-The zine is SFW

-For digital pieces, there will be an 8x10 300dpi RGB format

-Traditional pieces should be able to be fully scanned to the same 8x10 300dpi format

-Portrait orientation is preferred!

-For writers, pieces should be from a 500-3000 word count
