Err…. though Hoshi Souichirou takes the cake for being the most obnoxious one when drunk, there some guys who act silly, but not at his level… I only know  a few of them so… >.>

  • Yusa Kouji - as per other seiyuu’s statements, he’s a bad drunk, becoming even more sadistic than usual when intoxicated. There was this one time where he was drinking with Ono Daisuke and Yasumoto Hiroki and he ended up throwing a wrist watch at OnoD; and that one time he was drinking in a wine bar near Yasumoto’s house and he rang him up, telling Yasumoto to join him in the bar, but once Yasumoto got there, Yusa was already falling asleep drunk and he was denying that he told Yasumoto to join him. 
  • Morikawa Toshiyuki - here’s one guy who, when he was sent home alone in a taxi by Hiyama Nobuyuki, went and made a fuss, ended up mass calling almost every seiyuu in his phone book, telling everyone that Hiyama “abandoned” him. And as a consequence, the next day, everyone whom Morikawa ended up calling was teasing Hiyama, asking him if they “broke up”. lmao.
  • Ono Daisuke - he got drunk on half a bottle of wine, while recording for the 100th episode of his radio show with Kamiya Hiroshi, Dear Girl Stories. He ended up messing up his script and saying really funny and questionable stuff.
  • Taniyama Kishou - ended up giving Shimono Hiro hickeys on his neck

Hmm… they’re the only ones I can remember for now… but yeah…. I’ll add more when I remember them just being lazy

AHAHA MORIKAWA... I should find that freetalk about him and drinking. AH!!! It's his freetalk from the Shinsengumi Kekkonroku Wasurenagusa volume 8 (Yamazaki) CD!! He talks about how he used to have a high tolerance and I think he said he doesn't drink much now... I'll have to listen to it again when I'm not delusional home sick with a cold...

So I came across an older series when I was on a bit of a Inoue Kazuhiko binge earlier this month... It's called Gekkan Otokomae Zukan with a subtitle depending on the theme of the CD set.

For each "theme" there are 2 versions with different colors to distinguish them from each other with 2 seiyuus on each. The interesting thing is there's a free talk at the end and the seiyuu starring on the CD is paired up with a seiyuu from the OTHER CD in the set. So you end up with all 4 seiyuus in both CD's free talks, and both free talks are different! In all the CD has only 3 tracks, one for each character/seiyuu and then the group free talk. For seiyuu bias reasons, I didn't get the entire series (which is over 22+ CDs I believe) but I went for CDs that had a seiyuu I was interested in or at least a promising theme. I've listed them below with the main seiyuu on the CD as well...

  • Older White - Ikeda Shuichi & Miki Shinichiro
  • Older Black - Nakata Jouji & Chiba Susumu
  • Teacher White - Seki Toshihiko & Okiayu Ryoutarou
  • Teacher Black - Inoue Kazuhiko & Morikawa Toshiyuki
  • Servant White - Sakurai Takahiro & Irino Miyu
  • Hero White - Hatano Wataru & Hoshi Soichiro
  • Hero Black - Inoue Kazuhiko & Okawa Toru
  • Genji Camellia Red - Kishio Daisuke & Fukuyama Jun
  • Genji Lily White - Inoue Kazuhiko & Ono Daisuke
  • Tokugawa Blue - Seki Toshihiko & Nakamura Yuichi
  • Special Tokuten - Seki Toshihiko (Genji Lily)

Each track tends to run roughly 13-15 minutes, so the CDs aren't very long. They mix internal monologue with actual dialog of the character but it is kind of interesting. I bought mine all used so I saved money in the process, which allowed me to get more CDs for less. I think these CDs were released starting in 2008, so they're older. But they have a lot of variety in terms of themes, characters, and seiyuus. There were megane, prince, and other types of themed CDs but I wasn't interested in the seiyuus or theme at the time.

I’ll warn you now………. BIASES ABOUND AND LONG MULTIPLE VOLUME SERIES AWAITS BEYOND THIS POINT!

I’m currently extremely interested in these (older) series:

  • 羊でおやすみシリーズ // Hitsuji de Oyasumi series(currently around 30+ volumes if I remember right)
  • 月刊 男前図鑑 // Gekkan Otokomae Zukan(around 22+ volumes if you factor in tokuten CDseach theme has 2 CD choices with 2 of 4 characters in the group)

Hitsuji de Oyasumi I wasn’t sure about it way back when I first started running around this fandom because I was like “uhhh… counting sheep? Short CD? Nahhhh…” But this time around it was more like “OMFG BIAS ALERT AHHHHHH I HAVE A MIGHTY NEED!!” So yeah… Super excited for my Knock Out VOICE copy with Kuroda on it FFFFF OMG I READ A TRANSLATION OF BITS OF IT A WHILE BACK AND IT WAS AMAZING AHHHAHAHAHAH

Gekkan Otokomae Zukan was a complete accident to come across when doing a bias search for Inoue Kazuhiko… I’m obviously not getting the entire series (for either of these) but I definitely went for the bias containing CDs from the start PFFT! They’re 3 tracks each CD, one for each of the two characters and about 15 minutes each roughly with a final cast talk track. There’s a bunch of different themes from megane, teacher, historical heroes, classical musicians, warriors and such… I’M SUPER INTERESTED IN CHECKING THEM OUT. I found a few samples on YouTube (since the website doesn’t have voice samples) and they sounded interesting. There’s some “inner monologue/narration” from the guy’s point of view but not bad. I find those personal narration CDs a little strange but only because I’m not used to them……… YET.

Last but not least, I got a bias containing CDs from a new series I came across again in my Inoue binge searching…. オ・ト・ナ限定 看病CD Karte 3 (aka O.TO.NA. Gentei Kanbyou Kare 3) with Inoue Kazuhiko and Ono Daisuke FUFUFU~ THEY’RE BUTLER/ASSISTANT TO YOU AND FJSPEOFISJEPFSOEJF DO WANT. HEAL ME SMEXY VOICES~

I have other stuff coming but they’re not NEW series I’ve come across so those I’ll save for my collection posts once they arrive. I always feel bad for my poor mail/delivery guys……. and the tiny slot of a mailbox I have.

Don’t even get me started on how amazing they are though, they’re so cool and amazing and I love them but I know they probably talk about me behind my back like “Hey, there’s another one of those ‘StellaWorth’ packages for her… What do you think it is?” and someone replies like, “DON’T. JUST DON’T. OMG JUST NO. IGNORE IT. DELIVER THE PACKAGE AND DON’T LOOK BACK.” I’m 200% sure that’s the case LOL But they’re always really nice though. I recognize the guys and always know when there’s a new guy because when I answer the door they just stare at me like “UHHHHH……… IS THE FOREIGN NAME ON THIS PACKAGE YOURS???” And I reply all like “yup, that’s mine” I get some priceless reactions from time to time. I LOVE OPENING PACKAGES FFFF

Delivery day to ease the cabin fever of..... whatever I have??? I really don't know if it's a cold or influenza, but whatever it is it's given me eye pain/pressure and a headache for the last 3 days. IT SUCKS. Plus I'm told to stay home and not go out if possible. I was finally able to go out for groceries today since I haven't had a fever since Wednesday and the doc said it was okay with a mask for a little while;;; I HATE BEING SICK. AND I HATE MISSING WORK. //whines like a kindergartener// But this little package of goodies did arrive today which was nice. Something I have been waiting to arrive for quite a while!

First is the long awaited INMA volume 3 with Inoue Kazuhiko! Don't let it fool you though, IT'S ADULT/R18!! I haven't been able to listen to it yet because I'm saving it for last........... I HAVE HIGH HOPES FOR THIS LITTLE BABY OHOHOHOHO~ AND I GOT THE SPECIAL TOKUTEN VERSION WITH ADDITIONAL CD EHEHEHE!!

Next is Sweets Blossom volume 3 with Narita Ken! Again, another ADULT/R18 release! I'm glad I was able to talk with Umi (0negirlarmy) about it beforehand so I could get an idea of what happens in the plot, which helped prepare me for it since I didn't really catch that much... But after listening to it, I think it was pretty well done. I liked how the MC had her own attitude and likely her own reasoning for the things she did. She didn't seem like the kind who'd be forced into anything without her own choice. I think the plot/story was interesting though and from what I heard regarding the last one, this one is considerably less "questionable" in terms of character personality. I think it's great for fans of Narita!

I got my Shinobi Koi Utsutsu PSP Limited Edition StellaWorth tokuten set in the mail today too! It has a huge range of seiyuus and I'm all kinds of WOW! Toriumi Kousuke, Ono Daisuke, Sakurai Takahiro, Shimono Hiro, and Terashima Takuma... I'm more interested in the first three myself FUFUFU~ But from what I saw in the Limited Edition special booklet, Shimono Hiro's character changes to an older looking version??? Since it's the same seiyuu I think that's the case. AND IT'S A CUTE OLDER VERSION TOO... The character itself is 18 originally but doesn't really look it in the design, but I think there's some story behind that second "older/true" look. I'll have to find out in game eventually once I start playing it... Busy listening to my CDs first HEHEHE~

Last is the Hajimete no Yoru volume 1 with Kondou Takashi! I was very impressed by the interior booklet and SS paper included inside the CD! I thought it was just another normal CD interior booklet but it's not. It actually becomes a SUPER SMEXY mini-poster!! And the other included SS paper is both a "honeymoon advertisement" on one side and the story on the other. I was so confused as to why they included, what I thought at the time, was a real advertisement LOL I included the bromide in the pictures so you could see the size. The CD though wasn't bad. It's great for fans of the seiyuu and all but I actually was kind of put off by the character type. Constantly saying stuff under his breath and pretending he didn't say anything. It's the character dynamic with the MC and all, so nothing against the seiyuu, but it wasn't my type of thing. I did like how the MC kept slapping him....... //devious grin//

It kind of reminded me of Kareshi ga Icha xx Love with Kimura Ryouhei... that type of fluffy domestic life and their fun little quirks. I liked the Icha Love release a lot though, even if it wasn't my seiyuu/voice type originally. The story was super adorable and sweet. But this one seemed to just fall "meh" for me. I think it was the story/dialog itself, perhaps I just need to listen to it again later I dunno... I just know it wasn't my type of character in the end. I love snarky characters as long as the MC/mood is enough for me to imagine a fun or teasing eye-roll of my own from the MC at the same time. Those kind of banter moments are great, and I LOVE THEM. But this one had the MC literally pouting more so than anything it seemed. Ah well, the CD design (interior and artwork in general) was great and the CD wasn't bad writing really, just not the type of character I was in the mood for right now at least...

Well, with that out of the way, I'm going to finally listen to my INMA v3 (cv. Inoue Kazuhiko) CD before bed......... BECAUSE THAT'S ALWAYS A BRILLIANT IDEA RIGHT? lol I'll probably write up an entry specifically for it as I listen to it... if not at least live-tweet my fangirling AHAHAHA!

お隣さんシリーズは、ひとつのマンションを舞台にさまざまな住人とのひとときを描くCDドラマと、ドラマパートで管理人役の代永翼をMCに、CDドラマに登場した声優の実際の部屋をテーマに愉快なトークを繰り広げる座談会トークを1枚にしたCDシリーズ。
The Otonari-san series combines a drama part which depicts moments with the different residents of the same mansion and a part where Yonaga Tsubasa -who voices the caretaker in the drama part- talks with the seiyuu about their actual actual rooms. 
ドラマパートでは、なかなか素直に感情を表に出すことが苦手なアナタが、ある日突然、隣室に住んでいる彼から遊園地デートに誘われる。あまり乗り気ではないアナタは、偶然出会った迷子に対してやさしく接する彼に、次第に惹かれていく。
In the drama part you are someone who is not very good at expressing your emotions in an earnest manner, and you suddenly get invited on a date to the amusement park by your neighbour. You are not that enthusiastic about it, but seeing him interact with a lost child you start to get attracted to him..
ところが、ふたりで乗った観覧車が急に止まってしまい、さらに雷まで鳴り始める。怖さに震えるアナタを彼がやさしく抱きしめてくれて……。

In the talk part our MC Yonaga Tsubasa has some drinks with guest Ono Daisuke while they talk about their shared experiences together. And he asks Ono various questions like what he is currently obsessed with and what kind of female gestures make his heart flutter! With Ono being able to do impersonations at will, can Yonaga bring the talk to a good end….?

I totally missed anything about the first CD using the dummy head mic (or maybe I just wasn’t paying attention), I wonder whether it is just for this CD? The situation certainly is perfect for it.

P.P.S. Terashima Takuma is an "energetic freeter" (someone who survives on part-time jobs etc) and his release is likely to be officially in February, though they release it nearly a month earlier if you purchase from the official E-Animedia shop... LOL I'm only concerned about the second volume at this time! I wonder how long they are?? The CDs they release are generally shorter in length than I would expect for that price;;; Eh, this second volume looks too good to pass up! EHEHEHEE!
