Delivery day to ease the cabin fever of..... whatever I have??? I really don't know if it's a cold or influenza, but whatever it is it's given me eye pain/pressure and a headache for the last 3 days. IT SUCKS. Plus I'm told to stay home and not go out if possible. I was finally able to go out for groceries today since I haven't had a fever since Wednesday and the doc said it was okay with a mask for a little while;;; I HATE BEING SICK. AND I HATE MISSING WORK. //whines like a kindergartener// But this little package of goodies did arrive today which was nice. Something I have been waiting to arrive for quite a while!

First is the long awaited INMA volume 3 with Inoue Kazuhiko! Don't let it fool you though, IT'S ADULT/R18!! I haven't been able to listen to it yet because I'm saving it for last........... I HAVE HIGH HOPES FOR THIS LITTLE BABY OHOHOHOHO~ AND I GOT THE SPECIAL TOKUTEN VERSION WITH ADDITIONAL CD EHEHEHE!!

Next is Sweets Blossom volume 3 with Narita Ken! Again, another ADULT/R18 release! I'm glad I was able to talk with Umi (0negirlarmy) about it beforehand so I could get an idea of what happens in the plot, which helped prepare me for it since I didn't really catch that much... But after listening to it, I think it was pretty well done. I liked how the MC had her own attitude and likely her own reasoning for the things she did. She didn't seem like the kind who'd be forced into anything without her own choice. I think the plot/story was interesting though and from what I heard regarding the last one, this one is considerably less "questionable" in terms of character personality. I think it's great for fans of Narita!

I got my Shinobi Koi Utsutsu PSP Limited Edition StellaWorth tokuten set in the mail today too! It has a huge range of seiyuus and I'm all kinds of WOW! Toriumi Kousuke, Ono Daisuke, Sakurai Takahiro, Shimono Hiro, and Terashima Takuma... I'm more interested in the first three myself FUFUFU~ But from what I saw in the Limited Edition special booklet, Shimono Hiro's character changes to an older looking version??? Since it's the same seiyuu I think that's the case. AND IT'S A CUTE OLDER VERSION TOO... The character itself is 18 originally but doesn't really look it in the design, but I think there's some story behind that second "older/true" look. I'll have to find out in game eventually once I start playing it... Busy listening to my CDs first HEHEHE~

Last is the Hajimete no Yoru volume 1 with Kondou Takashi! I was very impressed by the interior booklet and SS paper included inside the CD! I thought it was just another normal CD interior booklet but it's not. It actually becomes a SUPER SMEXY mini-poster!! And the other included SS paper is both a "honeymoon advertisement" on one side and the story on the other. I was so confused as to why they included, what I thought at the time, was a real advertisement LOL I included the bromide in the pictures so you could see the size. The CD though wasn't bad. It's great for fans of the seiyuu and all but I actually was kind of put off by the character type. Constantly saying stuff under his breath and pretending he didn't say anything. It's the character dynamic with the MC and all, so nothing against the seiyuu, but it wasn't my type of thing. I did like how the MC kept slapping him....... //devious grin//

It kind of reminded me of Kareshi ga Icha xx Love with Kimura Ryouhei... that type of fluffy domestic life and their fun little quirks. I liked the Icha Love release a lot though, even if it wasn't my seiyuu/voice type originally. The story was super adorable and sweet. But this one seemed to just fall "meh" for me. I think it was the story/dialog itself, perhaps I just need to listen to it again later I dunno... I just know it wasn't my type of character in the end. I love snarky characters as long as the MC/mood is enough for me to imagine a fun or teasing eye-roll of my own from the MC at the same time. Those kind of banter moments are great, and I LOVE THEM. But this one had the MC literally pouting more so than anything it seemed. Ah well, the CD design (interior and artwork in general) was great and the CD wasn't bad writing really, just not the type of character I was in the mood for right now at least...

Well, with that out of the way, I'm going to finally listen to my INMA v3 (cv. Inoue Kazuhiko) CD before bed......... BECAUSE THAT'S ALWAYS A BRILLIANT IDEA RIGHT? lol I'll probably write up an entry specifically for it as I listen to it... if not at least live-tweet my fangirling AHAHAHA!

30 Day Drama CD Challenge - Day 06

Depends on the first-timer's request... HOW DEEP OF A HOLE ARE THEY LOOKING FOR ME TO DROP THEM INTO? //cue creepy grin//

I would probably start off asking if they had any theme, type of voice/character, or plot they were looking for first. If it was someone as shy as I was at the beginning, I'd probably recommend "Genyouki ~ Ookami" with Maeno Tomoaki. And NO, it's not because he's my bias and I think he did fabulous in that CD, OKAY? It's because the story isn't that dramatic, it's easy to follow, and there's just enough fluff/kisses to slowly draw in a first-timer I think. I think it also leaves a great impression on people with how well he did voice acting in it. His character needed to have just a slight change of voice to distinguish between his appearances and I think for a newer listener it'll be just enough change to show that the seiyuus aren't using the same voice for everything and have a great range of styles.

Now if they were less of a bashful person like me, I'd probably throw them right into Wasurenagusa. Specifically Yamazaki's "Shinsengumi Mokuhiroku Wasurenagusa" release with Morikawa Toshiyuki. Again, not because of my bias. I think his CD was the least EXTREME compared to what I read in summaries regarding the others (Saitou was another less out-there one), and the character is sweet in his own do-M tsundere ways. Great voice acting and interesting story for the CD as well. Not to mention it's LONG. And nothing better then a lot of awesome to really hook a victim PERSON;;;

Now if they wanted to just skip the plot and get some hot kisses, I'd recommend "KISS x KISS Collections volume 1 Adult Kiss" with Fujiwara Keiji!! It's a great, sexy, and CUTE release full of nothing but different kissing situations! The writing for Fujiwara's character and the situations were great I think, though it'll likely leave you wanting more since the CD is considerably shorter than others. Plus there's the stark contrast of his second KxK Collection release as a totally different character that left me without words crying in a corner for my Adult Kiss Fujiwara to come back... It's nice to have a smooth low voice like Fujiwara's saying those lines and those sweet kisses since most of the other things I've heard him in has him being an extremely funny character.

If you're looking for EXTREME R18 recommendations... I can't say I have any authentic recommendations because I'm still skirting around those to be honest. Though, that could change in the future;;; Ah, there was that one "LOVERS ONLY" with Toriumi Kousuke who was an angel who fell in love with a mortal woman he protected. It had a bitter-sweet ending though but the plot at least didn't have me staring into the abyss (ie: the adjacent wall) with a disgusted look on my face or holding my face in shame...

If you want DUMMY HEAD MIC ATTACK to give you a good understanding of the DHM capabilities, I would probably recommend "Sleepy-time Boyfriend" or "Hakozume"... or "Ore ni Suru? Boku ni Suru?"... or "Voice Supplement"... or "Gyuttoshite"... or "Anata wo Misshitsu de Torishirabe" or--- Yeah you get the point.

If you want FLUFF with some story but not necessarily driven in such a way that you're fighting off bad guys or getting in a fight with your beau, I would recommend "Kareshi ga Icha Icha XX Love" which is major fluff and you two just in bed (NOT R18) cuddling and such, or "Joshuuseki Kareshi" volume 5 with Sakurai Takahiro which is you on a drive date camping that is both cute and fun.

There's really all kinds of recommendations I could make if I had more details or knew what the person liked and didn't like. Otherwise I'd just recommend my biases and not everyone loves the same things so it's hard. But these are what I loved for their different reasons. There's also a lot of variety in voices here so you can listen to them to see if there's a seiyuu/voice that fits your fit. Most of the ones I like are lower in voice, as I'm not a fan much of the high childish sounding voices honestly (at least not in terms of a romantic voice). It's a difficult question to answer with only ONE CD recommendation... I hope this helps those who may be interested to try something new though. Icha Goro CD series - BlackButterfly

Okay, so I interpreted the "goro goro" as "idling" since "guru guru" is more along the lines of "rolling"... Again this is just my interpretation on the text and since this is still fairly new (well, they did release these details over a week ago but I just found out about it) I still don't have much to go on since it's a new series. Regardless, this sounds absolutely AWESOME! Like a mix of "Kareshi Icha xx Love" and "Gyuttoshite" or "KISS x KISS Collections" (mainly volume 1, Adult Kiss with Fujiwara Keiji UNFUNF).... I WILL BE PRE-ORDERING THE SHIT OUT OF THIS RELEASE. Super excited for cover art and other details! I could use some samples to hold me off until the end of September plz~ //cough//

IT FINALLY CAME!!! ヽ(；▽；)ノ

I had some issues getting my CD originally because of a payment glitch. I did my order and payment a month ago and had received an email from them days after I had paid. I, assuming incorrectly, had thought it was a payment confirmation email. It wasn't. Turns out they couldn't match up the payment with my order or something. I didn't realize until the release date when I didn't get a shipping confirmation email and it didn't arrive. That was when I realized my misreading and emailed them. After a few games of email-tag, things were figured out and they were able to put the payment with my order and send it out. From what I understand there was a mismatch of my name between the two for one reason or another but everything was fixed and they were very helpful. (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ

AND I'M SO GLAD I BOUGHT MY COPY THROUGH THEM! While the error was a little off-putting, their assistance and fast processing of the problem was extremely relaxing despite my anxiety (due to Japanese not being my native language). I felt like my language abilities had leveled-up after everything was sorted out! I LOVE THAT FEELING! Though next time I will remain just as anxious and paranoid of my language abilities because that's just how I am lol I have limited self-confidence after moments like this. I feel like a BAMF but then quickly understand my limitations and don't want to jinx myself lol (゜ロ゜；)

ANYWAY, ONTO THE GOODS! By purchasing through Stantetto's personal shop I was gifted a beautiful special booklet with special illustrations, concept sketches, SS (short stories), and cast comments inside! It was absolutely GORGEOUS! I also didn't realize that our cute little kareshi/boyfriend in the CD was a MEGANE! And a snarky one from the inside cover-art where he's lifting up your dress PFFT;;; I really enjoyed the booklet which made the ordeal of receiving the CD and the extra cost (aaaaahhhhhh shipping/fees added another 1,000Y to the total WTF) but it was SO WORTH IT~!!! Isn't he just darling~ (*´艸`*)

Okay, off to LISTEN to the CD, here is my live reaction.... YOU'VE BEEN WARNED........

I AM RED-FACED AND SMOTHERING MYSELF WITH MY YAMAZAKI PILLOW 10 SECONDS IN OMFG;;; I think I may have the volume a lil too high but honestly it makes it BETTER. JUST DON'T TRY HIDING YOUR EARS BECAUSE IT ONLY PUSHES THE HEADPHONES CLOSER AND MAKES HIM LOUDER;;; I love his laugh~ It's so cute I can't help smile OMFG WHY SO CUTE? I can't hnnnnggghhh!! And the "gyuuuuu" parts are so cute I just giggle~ AND THEN WHEN YOU TICKLE HIM THE LAUGH FFFFFFFFFF I CAN'T EVEN. JUST STOP BEING SO CUTE OMFG I WANT TO SMOTHER MYSELF IN A BAG OF SUGAR NOW. I love that this is nothing but SUGARY COATED FLUFF FOR YOUR EARS~~~~ That's all I ever wanted and needed, just smother me in love and fluff and all the sweet nothings you got up your sleeve buddy! Will admit, the kisses are good too. I've heard some CDs with awkard sounding kisses but these are cute and bawwwwww my poor little heart has been borderline heart attack since the CD started... I REGRET NOTHING. (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*: ･ﾟ✧

Regarding the tracks, there are actually 13 tracks on my CD and from what I can find online (since my iTunes hasn't been connecting to the CDDB database for awhile) these are the track titles...

Honestly I'm not sure yet what my 12th and 13th tracks are yet HAHA;;; Oh hey, they turn out to be like 90 seconds of SILENCE. They're the dividing tracks between the hidden ones so they don't have to put silence in the actual tracks. Bright idea, wish I had known because I was waiting for someone to talk for the longest time WTF;;; Anyway, IT WAS GOOD. FULL OF FLUFF AND LOVE AND ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO A HAPPY DRAMA CD. MY OTOME HEART IS FULFILLED. Now onto my other goodies fufufu~ (≖ω≖✿)

Here are some of the titles they have listed as choices for you to choose from in the "Which CD would you be interested in next?" if they were to turn it into a series... One of them was "Kareshi ga Icha xx Ero" on a Saturday night ROFL;;; I almost selected it but held back and opted for another fluffy one, though I wouldn't have minded ANY of the other CDs either to be honest.
