I HEARD BED CREAKING IN THAT LAST SAMPLE..... not exactly in the 'adult' way but still LOL Gotta decent idea where THAT one's taking place. Not sure yet if I'll go for this one though. I have the first one and it didn't really hit me like I had hoped (nothing wrong with the story or seiyuu, but just not the voice style I had hoped for)

30 Day Drama CD Challenge - Day 26

Drama CDs you own/consider buying.

I won't list all of the ones I own, because there's a ton and you can just see the nicely coordinated list HERE if you really want...

I will, though, list a few of the "consider buying" CDs and a short explanation with them for why:

Bathtime Lovers 4 : Hatano Wataru [[ OCTOBER 25 ]]
This looks promising, if the other releases I bought (and should be getting in the mail shortly) hold up to what the image and concept I'm expecting, plus his Voice Supplement release, this should be pretty damn good!
Tenbushu ni Iyasare : series in general (aside from biases)
I ordered Maeno and Morikawa's releases but I should be getting those in the mail any day now, but from the short samples of the other volumes I listened to these all seem like a lot of fun! I'll see how I feel after my biases~
Kareshi Igai Type D : Y - Maeno Tomoaki [[ OCTOBER 25 ]] & Z - Morikawa Toshiyuki [[ NOVEMBER 29 ]] !!adult!!
MAENO AND MORIKAWA VOLUMES HELL YEAH I'M INTERESTED!! But they may be sad/drama filled stories and that makes me nervous... But I'm 99% sure I'll cave into my curiosity and bias addiction and get them REGARDLESS;;;
Jooubachi 5 : Takahashi Hiroki !!adult!! [[ OCTOBER 30 ]]
THAT LOW VOICE OMFG;;; And from what I can tell he's the less extreme-creepy of them all, but it may be a false mask that I've built for myself because none of the other volumes have been anywhere near my "tolerable" zone LOL B-But I think my poor little 'sexy low voice' heart has already been stolen and would not tolerate me not caving on this purchase. FML.
Inma 2 : Takahashi Hiroki !!adult!! [[ OCTOBER 23 ]]
Okay didn't really like the sound of the sweet voice for the first release and despite the "good" reviews of the sweet side, it still leaves me a little unsure. I'm slowly corrupting myself to the R18/adult side with half of these on my "considering" list LOL CAN YOU GUESS WHY??? But Takahashi Hiroki has that low sexy voice that could melt IRON and I would consider anything of his now even if he's not my bias (yet, I don't have enough of his stuff to go on pfft... okay so I have nothing but his R18 stuff coming out in October aha FML) So this is likely to be another caving introduction to it's respective series for myself...
Akogare no Date 3: Morikawa Toshiyuki
Because it's Morikawa and he's a writer wanting to write a romance novel and asks 'you', his assistant, to pretend to be his girlfriend. YEAH, I'M IN. //dives head first into shallow end//

Torikago no Toraware Hime - Black Knight: Morikubo Shoutarou
I like the concept of a knight falling for the princess/you, and I'd like to see how his volume plays out~
Kare Pillow : series in general (wait to see other seiyuus) !!adult!!
Yeah, I think I'm stuck in the pit of R18 curiosity now... Not so interested in the first volume with Hirakawa, but would like to see what other seiyuus they bring in for the others! SOME LOW SEXY VOICES PLEASE~ Kudo points if they're a bias!!
Sweets Blossom : series in general !!adult!!
I heard good reviews on the first volume, and the sample was extremely sweet, but I'm still on the fence with this one. The seiyuu is new to me and has a higher range voice. Extremely SWEET voice, I must add. But I am more for the mid-lower range if possible. There is a second release coming that may be more in the area of the type of voice I'd like... Will have to see.
Kareshi Igai 5 : Kuroda Takaya
IT'S KURODA (ie: sexy low voice) AND I'M INTERESTED. Except I really don't understand the plot/concept so I'm a little unsure yet... Waiting on a friend to post a review of it since they just got a copy. FFFFF I WANNA KNOW HOW QUICKLY I SHOULD BUY IT OR NOT LOL;;;

And there you have it. My guilty curiosity tempting me to the DARK SIDE........ where they have cookies and sexy low voices, NOT TO MENTION MY TOP BIASES NOW UNFUNF!!

30 Day Drama CD Challenge - Day 12

Drama CD you didn’t like.

Hmmm... I've only had a few at best that didn't really hit the spot for me. Granted, that was at the time and I've found myself re evaluating things I didn't originally enjoy before and finding myself more interested now. My main issue was the seiyuu not being one of my preferred types.

The "Birdcage Knight" and "Kyuuketsuki Darling" volumes I currently have (not including yet to be released) weren't bad but weren't exactly drool worthy for me at the time... or yet, for that matter. The seiyuus were Kakihara Tetsuya and Yoshino Hiroyuki respectively. Great voice actors, good job on the CD, but just didn't hit that sweet spot for me. Not a complete disappointment but not exactly something I look to listen to over and over either. Luckily I've avoided hitting bad streaks of purchases thus far and would very much like to avoid them at all costs if possible...... lol pun. I will likely go back and check them again when I feel more in the mood for their types of voices. Again, not a complete loss so I'm not terribly upset.

I REALLY LIKE HIS CHARACTER DESIGN COMPARED TO THE FIRST ONE! He looks so dangerous yet so gentle asglsfklas and his eye-patched omf i have a thing for eye-patched dude and this one just took my breath away _(:3 / <)_

Released date is 16th October and the seiyuu for this second volume is MORIKUBO SHOWTARO!

DELIVERY DAY IS MY FAVORITE DAY!! (●´ω｀●)

Got my latest Hakuouki Yamazaki goody in the mail! I found it on Yahoo!Auctions and found out that it's part of a special shop's online gacha sales (not in stores from the looks of it) which you can see here at Taito Kuji Honpo of all the available items you could receive. Yamazaki was part of the 2 secret characters (I'm assuming that's Shinpachi for the other one?) and was very surprised by how big it really is! It's a great keychain and will go with my other Yamazaki ones hanging on my shelf! So cuuuuute~ (〃∇〃) てれっ☆

I got my Torikago no Toraware Hime ~Shirokishi no Shou~ drama CD in the mail...... AKA Birdcage Knight (omfg so much shorter and easier to remember lol) which is also the series name for the website address too. I ordered it through StellaWorth so I got two special bromides, where Animate was a bromide of the cover illustration. I really liked it but because they had one of the two bromides listed as "secret" it peeked my interest a little more than a photo of the cover art. I figured the full-character view would be nicer. I haven't listened to it yet but I did browse through a few quick tracks for a quick listen to parts and it sounds nice. Of course, I have SHIN (Amnesia) popping up in the front of my head when I listened to it LOL;;; It'll take me a bit to detach from his past voice works and take it purely as another character. I'm most familiar with Kakihara Tetsuya as Shin most recently in Amnesia (I have the game) but I'm not that familiar with him to begin with so it's to be expected. The artwork on the inside looks absolutely stunning OH MY~ Really excited to sit and listen to this now! (*ﾉ▽ﾉ)ｲﾔﾝ

Yaaaaay "huMANdroid" and "Torikago no Toraware Hime" (aka Birdcage Knight, which is how they labeled it on the Team-E website address)!!! I plan on getting the "huMANdroid : H" release for sure!! I'm hoping they'll release some voice samples for "Birdcage Knight" though (the Japanese title is so hard for me remember lol) because I'd like to see how he uses his voice for the character, but still rather excited to see how that possible series will go! YAY SCANS!
