Tragedy strikes a girl named Kanako when her father,  the only blood relative she has, is suddenly killed in an accident. While she finds herself lost on what to do after her father's passing, an entrepreneur named Shingyouji Souichi who's apparently her father's old friend comes to her rescue by taking both Kanako and her father's company into his care. However, Kanako slowly becomes aware that her situation might not exactly be ideal and she may in fact have been lead into a 'birdcage' when Souichi tells her to choose one of his two sons to marry - and whoever she chooses will become the heir to his fortune.

The heroine, Okazawa Midori, is a second year student in junior college. In order to have a graduation trip with her friend, Togawa Saki, Midori has been working part-time since spring. It's going to be a 10-day cruising tour around Northern Europe. Her parents are worried because this will be her first time traveling abroad, but they give the permission as long as she can find a job.

On the day of the trip, Midori stepped onto a plane for the very first time. She feels nervous because everything is a new experience for her, and so the tour group depart from Narita towards Avesta Airport in Sweden. Unfortunately, Midori runs into numerous trials and troubles in Northern Europe. She can't speak English despite having knowledge of the language.

Things get worse when Midori gets separated from Saki, ends up lost in the airport, AND gets robbed on top of that. She submits an application to make a new passport, but since it's going to take a while, she will be staying in a hotel in the meantime.

In an unfamiliar land, Midori meets people she can't have a proper conversation with… and the experience gradually changes her.

On the boundary between the worlds of the dead and the living, the girl finds a life-risking love.

"Prince Pia ♥ Carrot" is a family restaurant that is really famous among women. Since all of the waiters are male and handsome, it's like a dream come true—so much that the line of women who visit the restaurant to see them are never-ending. Our heroine, who works there only for summer, is the only female staff, and her arrival seems to bring a love storm into the restaurant—!?

The story takes place in Mogura Gakuen, commonly known as Z Gakuen, a place for students with "shame" to gather from all over the country. Right after our heroine, Yaotome Rei, enters the school, they suddenly announced that the school is going to be closed down. There's only one way to save the school from many unfortunate events, and that is for the students to fall in love.

Rei immediately searches for a boy to become a couple with. Sadly, she was born with the ability to attract all sorts of bad luck… and unfortunate guys are starting to gather around her. All of them are incomplete humans with a missing piece, so maybe they're looking for another piece that can complete the part they're missing.

Rei can choose one of these unfortunate guys, and when she erases their complex with her love…

The heroine, Gerda, is living in a small village. Along with her childhood friend, Kai, she has a peaceful life surrounded by the beautiful flowers they love. Until one day, Kai obtained a magic mirror believed to have the “power to grant wish”. The people who are present at the time are Orva, a servile and fragile coward; Craes, a cheerful chef apprentice; and Aje, a traveling swordsman with no sense of direction.

When they take a closer look, the mirror suddenly shatters into pieces. They are swallowed by a blinding light and lose their consciousness. By the time they open their eyes, they find absolutely no trace of the broken mirror pieces. They don’t understand what just happened. Nothing seems to happen to them either, and so they go home for the day.

However, starting from the next day, a certain change appears in their bodies—!?

Koukashi (Crimson Mist City) is the only city on a small island far away from the mainland and was once a booming town that thrived off of tourism, its chief industry. However, perhaps due to insecurity about the Taisho period reaching its end or perhaps because of the disaster that wracked the island, customers gradually stopped coming. Koukashi experienced a crisis of economic collapse, casting its residents into a gloomy shadow.

However, there is a single ray of hope for the citizens: a group of young people that works towards public order and for the future of the town called the Kouka Seinen-dan (Crimson Mist Youth Association). The people have particularly placed their expectations in the leader of the Kouka Seinen-dan, Kagurazaka Hibiki, and his right hand man Mochizuki Satoya.

In addition, to help with the reconstruction after the disaster and restore public order, a solder named Inoguchi Wataru has been dispatched from the mainland. There is also the mysterious young man, Haruna Nozomu, who is a traveller, but seems to have some kind of business on the island nonetheless.

Each one of them carries out their own form of justice upon the problem that is currently plaguing the island.

In the midst of all this, a man summoned by the mayor has proposed a “garrison attraction plan”, an idea which has begun to circulate, plunging the city even more into confusion.

It also comes to pass that Fuyuura Megumi, the proprietress of a small restaurant, is also inevitably caught up in this maelstrom.

—this is the story of people who are desperately fighting to live during a period of great upheaval.

Even though they look the same, their personalities are complete opposites. This is a story for you to fall in love with men who have that gap, and all the capturable men are the personification of gems!? While it might seem familiar, you will be able to enjoy the elements of surprise—with “gem language” as the motif. The story takes place in two worlds. The men you see in your “dream” are all wild or dangerous, while the ones in “reality” are gentle and refreshing. Which side will you fall in love with?
