Not as far as I know, no.

The season 1 script book came about as a way to fundraise after going over budget (The Agnes Nutter flashback scene was in danger of never being filmed. We couldn’t have that, could we?). People were able to get the entire script days before the premiere. So spoilers were everywhere.

The same situation was avoided for season 2, which had more unknown storylines. Along with it not needing that kind of fundraising.

It’s probably unlikely to happen, especially with season 3 on the way.

Looking at the concept art for GO2 and I'm really amused by the Aziraphale and Crowley cut-out reference choices that were made and their silly faces

Matching icons for you and your best hereditary enemy.

(more concept art in this lovely post by @fuckyeahgoodomens)

I know people like to theorize or have headcanons that Aziraphale and Crowley actually had their first kiss earlier in the timeline than s2 in 2023 and just chose never to speak of it again, but going by the fact that Aziraphale almost sobbed and threw up and died from Crowley’s cringefail turbo virgin lip smash, I really don’t think that’s the case tbh

Hi Neil!

Hope you're doing well! I just have a quick little question about the "in the beginning"-scene in Season 2 of Good Omens. How come both Crowley and Aziraphale have their corporeal forms already? The way I understood it, angels are only issued a body/bodily form to move around on Earth, right? How come they both look like their 'later earthly bodies' already when the humans and Earth were only just being developed? Or is it similar to the language thing ("Lead balloon") where it's just how they would have wanted us to perceive them (instead of their true form)?

Loved Season 2 big time, can't wait for Season 3!

Think about how big they are.

That spark on Crowley's wing is him protecting Aziraphale from a whole solar system crashing onto his angelic head.

HELP - Good Omens Season 2 DVD - HELP 🥺❤📀

It's been more than half a year since the S2 of Good Omens came out and there are still no news of the DVD. I think it's time to let Amazon and BBC know that there is the market for it!!! :)

The plan 📋:

Please help - let's use multiple ways ❤ 🐍😊:

We need to tell BBC and Amazon that we want the DVDs - after S1 DVD was announced with no commentaries we wrote to BBC and it worked and they made commentaries! :)

  1. Classical post - physical letter

If you can spare a coin for the post stamp please write them physical letter, physical letters are very good :).

Amazon Studios address:  AMAZON STUDIOS, 1620 26TH STREET SUITE 4000N, SANTA MONICA, 90404
BBC Studios address: BBC Studios Limited, 1 Television Centre, 101 Wood Lane W12 7FA London

2. Phone

This is the option for those comfortable with calling :) <3. Call them and let them know we want the DVD (with commentaries)

Amazon customer service: 1-888-280-4331
BBC Studios: +44 (0)117 974 2323, +44 (0) 20 8433 2000

3. Through fill in form (BBC)

BBC Studios has a webpage for contacting them https://www.bbcstudios.com/contact/contact-us/ , I think a good way through it could be

4. E-mail

? BBC: [email protected]

With amazon this is a bit tricky since I am not sure what are the proper emails to use, for amazon the customer service ones are [email protected] and  [email protected], also there are emails on the amazon studios page but those seems more for media enquies ? [email protected], [email protected]

5. Social media

Not sure how much this will help, but #GoodOmensS2DVD could be a nice tag + tagging amazon studios, bbc studios and prime video on the social media of your choise :) <3

What to write/say ✍️

I am writing something along the lines:

Hello,

I am a big fan of the BBC+Amazon series Good Omens. I have bought several pieces of merchandise including the Good Omens Season 1 DVD and Blu-ray but there is no announced Good Omens Season 2 DVD. Please make Good Omens Season 2 DVD/Blu-ray for this wonderful series and put commentaries on each episodes (ideally by Neil Gaiman, David Tennant and Michael Sheen).

(apologies if this is the route to say this, please redirect to the correct hands)

Thank you and have a wonderful day.

To summarize :)

  • Write emails
  • Fill in the BBC form
  • If you can, send physical letters
  • If you can, call
  • Tag social media for BBC and Amazon with #GoodOmensS2DVD hashtag

This is so important actually. If you can't afford streaming, you don't have access to that content unless there is a physical copy that you can pay for once or check out from your local library. So much of what is popular today is available only on streaming, and while watching movies or shows isn't a necessity, entertainment is still important. We need ways to relax and decompress, to socialize in larger groups about popular culture to experience acceptance and connection, and I think it's such a shame when I see those really interesting documentaries or series that say "Netflix original" or "only on Apple TV" or whatever.

In conclusion, go watch Good Omens: Season 2, and try one or two of the methods listed by OP to push for a DVD copy of the season!

David and Michael talk about the S2 Finale 🥺

David and Michael interview with Kim Roots from TVLine, about the S2 finale. July 2023 [S2 Promo: C: I could always rely on you. You could always rely on me. We're a team, a grou p. And we spend our existence pretending that we aren't.]

KR: What happens in the finale between Crowley and Aziraphale is something that some fans have been yearning for a very long time. Was there a pressure? Did you have any conversations about what this might mean to the fandom? Talk to me a little bit about like when you found out this was going to happen and kind of your initial reactions.

Michael: Well, you know, the relationship between Aziraphale and Crowley, obviously, is something that the audience seemed to really warm to, and obviously was part of why the idea of doing Season 2, you know, seemed like it could be something that could work. Following how that relationship develops has been something that the audiences have really got into. So we've taken that very seriously, and Neil takes it incredibly seriously. So tracking that relationship and that journey between them, because obviously on the surface, they seem like they're complete opposites, and yet clearly, they're kind of compelled towards each other in all kinds of ways. And now that they've been being cut off from their respective head offices, they only have each other, so that pulls them together a lot more, doesn't it? And the stakes are always high around them, and they sort of end up going on a journey together, but it takes them to different places and where we leave things at the end..

David: Well, that's the thing. Nothing is resolved. So whatever happens and whatever you may have seen at the end of Episode 6, it's also important to note that that doesn't finish the story. In fact, that just sor of ruptures things.

Michael: It's the start of another story.

[S2 Promo: A: I forgive. C: Don't bother.]

David:I think you have to be careful if there is something delicate that has generated a lot of excitement about where will that end up. As soon as you end up there, as soon as you finish that story, it's all over, isn't it?

Michael: You don't really want to find out who killed Laura Palmer. [Twin Peaks series plot]

David: Yeah, exactly. Exactly.

KR Like you said, David, there is no resolution, which made me very happy because this feels primed for a third go-around at some point. Have you had any conversations about that with Neil about possibly keeping the story going?

David: Well, if you've seen where Series 2 ends, there's certainly the teasing of further tales to come, isn't there? Whether we will ever find out what those tales are is in the lap of... well, certainly not on our lap.

Michael: No, it's on the laps of the audience.

David: Laps of the audience, yes.

Michael: We are sitting firmly...

David: In the tops of the audience as it streaming.

Michael: Yeah, it's not in my lap. I know that. When we first started Series 1, we always knew that the story went a lot further because Neil and Terry had talked about it. They just hadn't written it down, but we knew there were ideas, and we have not yet reached the end of those ideas.

David: No.

Michael: You know, if we get a chance to tell more of this story, it does already exist.

David: Yes.
