• The time jump will be 8 years, Hope will be 15 in the final season, and the season kicks off during Mardi Gras
• Charles wants to be able to play the piano on screen (tidbit - he was the one playing the piano during Elijah’s final scene in s4)
• Hayley gets a friends with benefits, a man named Declan (named after writer Declan De Barra who left the show previously)
• Hope is dating
• When asked who’s had the happiest 8 years, the cast answered Josh and Julie said he’s been ‘on fire’ 
• Freya has been very active in Hope’s life.
• Freya is experiencing peace for the first time in her life, she’s in love and happy, though working to bring her family back together (this was repeated several times throughout interviews)
• Caroline is gonna have 3 scenes with Klaus, is also going to have at least one scene with Josh, is hoped to appear in other episodes though nothing is set in stone, and will be calling Klaus out on his shit a lot.
• The final words of the season may end up being “always and forever”
• Klaus has gone on a murder spree
• Marcel and Rebekah have remained in New York over the time jump, Charles joked they were ‘catching broadway shows’ and couldn’t get tickets to see Hamilton
• Hayley’s been helping Hope with school projects, and has been working on her own happiness and personal life
• Yusuf said that Vincent has just been carrying on with ‘business as usual’ in New Orleans, he’s been maintaining the stability of the city. He’s comfortable but vigilant.
• The cast joked that the best thing about having Hope as a teenager now was that they could be more violent and get back to normal on set, as before they modified their behaviour due to being in the presence of a child
• Apparently people called up the studio to tell them not to use ‘real witch spells’ anymore in the show, though Julie insists all the spells for the show are just translated into french then scrambled, and are completely fictional
• Julie has a list of people she wishes to see, both past TO characters and TVD characters too.

• Hayley grows stronger for Hope rather than pine on Elijah.
• Though Julie hopes the two (Hayley/Elijah) will find peace in eternity together
• Julie felt like now was the time to tell the story of Klaus/Caroline
