Hyrule Apocrypha: The Archive of the Sky Scholar

It’s been a year in the making, but I can finally share a piece of fanart that I did for Hyrule Apocrypha! AKA ZeldaFicZine

Since this zine was made to focus more on short stories than artwork, I was asked to provide a painting to go with a Twilight Princess prompt, depicting “a glimpse into the archive of Shad, scholar in service to Queen Zelda”. The fic was done in the form of an archivist’s notes going over Shad’s collection, which I thought was quite a fascinating angle to take, and a great opportunity for me to come to appreciate Shad as a character through painting him and figuring out all the little details I wanted to include on his desk~ I’ll make sure to share the link to the finished story here once I have it available. c:

wanted to try my hand at some twili characters

more Dungeon Meshi in Wind Waker style! (first part)

I like the idea that Link could stumble on Laios's party in dungeons, maybe after the miniboss, and they offer you a meal that replenishes your health, sort of like Yeto from TP! You could take some with you in a bottle like grandma's soup. There could be a funny interaction if you show Marcille a joy pendant, and she thinks it's really pretty until Laios and Senshi tell her it's actually a treasure bug.
