Pride day 26 once again comes from my best friend (he’s amazing)
13 sometimes dissociates because she's changed bodies so much and the way Yaz helps is by giving her compliments about every feature and quirk exceptionally 13 while holding her hands in hers. She always ends it with a kiss and a "I love how soft your lips are"

One time on an adventure 13 gets injured enough to not be of much help but still like lucid and just stares in awe as yaz takes her place as leader so effortlessly and also absolutely destroys whatever hurt her
Pride day 24
13 sometimes gets overstimulated on adventures so whenever this happens yaz will pull her somewhere dark and quiet. Depending on how overstimulated the doctor is, she’ll either sit on her lap to provide weight or just hold her hand

Yaz had an obsession with the stars as a child that eventually died out as she grew older and no longer had the time or energy to think about the stars. The Doctor brought it back full-force. So when they have a slow day or it's late at night, Yaz asks questions. About the universe, the constellations she can see in the night sky and the billions she can't, the mythos around stars on other planets and the one nurtured in long-gone ancient civilizations on Earth history had forgotten. Anything and everything. And 13 answers every. single. question. In as much detail as she can, as much detail as Yaz wants.
one day, she takes her to a far away future, in a far away corner of the universe. And lets her name a star, a star the scientists of that place and time haven't discovered yet. And she makes sure to feed the name to whoever is responsible for naming them in a way they think it was their own idea. But the Doctor would know and more importantly - Yaz would.
Day 19 (I am running out of these-)
13 often finds herself in places where she could and probably would fall off so yaz has taken to just lightly holding her waist so if she DOES fall or stumble she can pull her back quickly
This has the added bonus of making 13 way more careful bc if she falls, then yaz does too

13’s safe place is like the crook of yaz’s neck and sometimes she’ll spend like 20 minutes just sitting on yaz’s lap with her head there to unwind (yaz of course loves this)

“I miss you” is the equivalent of “I love you” for thasmin, like- it just is. It has too much important for it not to be sooo
I think if they DO have to be separated, 13 will make it a point to say “I’ll miss you” before they go seperate ways, both because of the very real chance that they’ll be seperated for longer than either of them planned but also to just- reassure yaz
Yesterday was bullshit so pride day 4 and 5 will be posted today.
The first time yaz helped pilot the tardis it wasn’t purposeful, 13 had forgotten to do something that yaz knew had to be done through watching her and spending 10 months obsessively trying to figure out the other tardis and did it without thinking and 13 just- freezes and then yaz freezes and starts stumbling out an explanation before 13 lights up like, so proud
I see a lot of people say that yaz would be part of UNIT, and I agree, I do. I also don’t, though.
I think for a few weeks to maybe one and a half months after 13 regens, yaz would be a shell of a person. Some days she just lays in bed, staring at the wall/ceiling and not having the energy to get up. Other’s she does the bare minimum for survival and that’s it.
And after she starts becoming more alive again, Kate contacts her. she’d be the only one of the fam to be personally contacted. Graham and Ryan def help UNIT but they probably learn of it through ace, who 100% keeps in contact with Graham. They’re friends or more, fight me :)
Anyway, Kate offer’s yaz a job, and yaz accepts it on a few conditions: she doesn’t have to see the doctor unless it’s 100%, absolutely, no other options available, last resort. She doesn’t wanna see the doctor if it’s not her doctor, not yet. She only is called in with an emergency, I imagine UNIT isn’t always super exciting and I can’t see haz enjoying paperwork about saving the world.
And they help her go back to school. Because I think her ending is becoming a councilor for underprivileged teens, specializing in ones dealing with depression or anxiety.
Dan, Graham and Ryan would all help out, like secretaries or helping with the business side of things, and as she becomes friends with more companions they also start helping, just not as much as the fam.
She would 100% use her own experience with depression to help and probably would mention her adventures with 13… though those would always be vague, to help as well.
Honestly I’m not sure totally how it’d work, I’m not well versed in Dr who and it’s spinoffs but I had this thought one night and every once in a while return to it
I’m having more thoughts about yaz/thasmin (please, everyone act surprised, I have a reputation to uphold /sar)
So her arc is being more like the doctor, right? Yea, that’s her arc, her story. She fills the role as doctor when 13 can’t, it’s lovely, I love it, one of my favorite things about the series because I too pick up bits and pieces of the people I love
But. Imagine. 13 doing the same. 13 using phrases yaz does or talking with the same infliction or copying movements
also imagine: yaz learning bits and leaves of gallifryen (how the fuck do you spell that?), not the whole thing, but common phrases in the tardis, names of where they go often (earth, Britain, etc), yaz learning how to read the tardis’ screens- maybe not speak it but read it, yea
Or 13 getting into the habit of eating/laying down whenever yaz does, just wanting to be close to her without knowing how to ask. Mirroring her companion’s actions as a way to spend more time together even if it’s just a few minutes for a snack break
Also the doctor throwing away morals any time yaz is in danger- throwing herself into pent up anger and pain to protect the person closest to her, the person she loves, one she can’t lose.
Yaz finding books in the tardis’ library (cuz the tardis has a library) and not understanding a language, asking 13 to translate for her
13 being terrible at cooking so yaz makes their food
Yaz always having random stuff in her pockets (which are bigger thanks to 13) because 13’ll hand her stuff and forget to get it back
13 consistently emptying her pockets onto yaz’s hand anytime she’s looking for something (like a lot)
I have like a billion feelings rn and 99% are about dr who, specifically my hatred of 14 and my love of 13 but I’m too tired to make sense of any of it soooo
13 and yaz should’ve hugged more
Whenever yaz is helping fly the tardis 13’s thoughts are just repeating “she is so talented and cool and I love her” over and over
13 thinks yaz with a gun is hot (so do i)
Yaz thinks 13 is hot when she’s angry (same yaz)
Yaz’s family loves 13 and doesn’t believe they aren’t dating
Yaz still struggles with depression sometimes (like has bad days) and whenever she does and is with 13, she does everything in her power to make her feel better
Graham saw the gay looks from day one. Ryan did not
13 doesn’t sleep that much but will lay with yaz whenever asked
Yaz had nightmares and if she wakes up from one she seeks out 13
The mattress is in the control room bc yaz sleeps better around the doctor ( also so 13 can take lil power naps)
13 genuinely tries to improve herself for yaz (like being more open)
Yaz doesn’t push 13 to share but will ask questions
Yaz does not let thirteen be a douche bag to her, and will call her out
13 and yaz have matching rings… or maybe necklaces, idk, but they have one or more matchy matchy things and for a while after she regenerates yaz can’t bring herself to take any of them off (14 and 15 each wear one of said matchy things, but like- in a different way than intended, a ring as a necklace or a necklace as a bracelet or like a jacket cut up to make a shirt)
