the endings are often a little bit gory

This be Orb. I don't bite. 32 and just trying to do something with the time I have left. I post a lot of different stuff, but it almost always relates to animation in some way or another.

So I just saw The Lorax for the 11th time...

...and I feel really stupid for just noticing this, but... I honestly didn't notice until TODAY that they placed a bunch of old, moss-covered rocks around the seed at the end of the movie, just like the ones during the "funeral of a tree" when The Lorax first appears...

I feel really stupid for not noticing, but I'm more concerned with WHERE THE HECK DID THEY GET MOSS-COVERED ROCKS??

Or, like my fiance said when he saw it the first time, where did they get a watering can?? I told him that they probably only had it because it was made out of plastic, but I honestly don't know...

But I did notice something that made me laugh this time. :D "Gru's Gear" is what Ted's shoes say, on the side, in that little circle. It even has a picture of Gru. lol

OH! And that guy, dressed in purple! HE NEEDS TO HAVE HIS OWN FANDOM. He's the guy who's always just standing around in the background, looking at signs and maps and billboards, like "WTF, I CAN'T READ, WHAT IS THIS?!"

Do you know who I'm talking about? He's in all the Thneedville musical numbers, but he's up close in..."Thneedville", just as Wesley, the glowing boy, is picked up from the water by his parents. He's standing to the right, in the background, looking at a map on the wall, like "O.O WHAT IS THIS--" and then he's also rather close in the scene where Ted drops his g-ma off at the market. While Ted's being all awesome and talking to Audrey, the dude in purple is standing there, staring at this sign, like, "O.O THIS HAS WORDS ON IT!" and then he walks over to the tables with the umbrellas on them and sits all by himself, staring at other people...

Yeah. I think that guy needs his own fandom. End of discussion.

Oh, and I wanted to make a comment about something that happened earlier today at work (other than walking into a guest room that was filled with hot wheels tracks and they were EVERYWHERE). During my lunch break, I was just sitting there, bored, and this guy walked by with a Smuckers Uncrustables... and I literally just stared at the bag in his hand like...like barbaloots staring at those marshmallows. I haven't had a peanut butter & jelly sandwich in, like, 4 DAYS! THAT'S A REALLY LONG TIME FOR ME! I NEED PEANUT BUTTER!!!
