WHY AREN'T THERE ANY DECENT SHOTS OF ERIK GANGER?! He literally has NO full-body shots in ANY of the three books, and they completely changed his design from the first to the second book! His freckles are gone, he actually FITS in his clothes... WHY ARE THEY MAKING THIS SO DIFFICULT?!
A spinoff of The Lorax?
So...I had a weird dream last night. I'm not sure how to explain it, but I think the best way to describe it is...a spinoff of The Lorax. Or maybe a crossover between The Lorax and Despicable Me (depending on how you interpret the movies, that is)
Okay, here's what happens in the dream:
Once-ler's family members are villains and they look down on Oncie because he's really bad at being bad. He wants to gain his family's approval and prove them wrong, so he goes out into the world to attempt to do bad. He fails to do much more than invent evil machines, like a fast-powered flame thrower, but some don't work or are stolen. He stays in a forest and gets annoyed that someone had made a fire but left it alone and didn't properly block it. It could have burned down the whole forest! Now, that's an evil idea... He calls up his family, telling them to come and witness his first big wrong-doing. Then The Lorax appears. He tells Oncie that he doesn't have to be the bad guy and that he knows that he has a heart of a good guy, not a bad guy. He tries to ignore The Lorax, but he persists. Then the family shows up and loves his plan. But he'll probably screw it up. He shows them the flame thrower and they ooh and ahh. They decide that they should help him burn down the forest and Greenville, too. Oncie is hesitant. The animals in the forest were smart enough to flee if there's a fire. The only thing dying would be trees. But in Greenville, there are lots of innocent people that could get hurt in a fire. He couldn't hurt someone! He refuses, and The Lorax backs him up. But his family takes the flame thrower and goes through with his plan anyway. Oncie And The Lorax team up against his own family to stop them and save Greenville, and most of the forest.
And, yes, there was THIS involved:
But, all in all, it was actually a really good story. If it was made into a movie, I'd go see it. ;)
