Oh, that reminds me In that video, the guy in the orange shirt is TicTac and the one with glasses and long hair is Donut And a couple days ago, I was making my brother watch an episode of Grojband and i think i mentioned that Kin and Kon are twins And my brother just shook his head and was arguing that they looked nothing alike. "They might be brothers, but there's no way they are twins" So i told him that there is such a thing as fraternal twins and he goes "that's like saying Donut and TicTac are twins" And i just stared at him for a minute He goes "what?" And i just facepalm and tell him "Donut and TicTac ARE twins, you nimrod" He didn't believe me, but it's true

I found some colored pencils and tried to fill in the outfit designs that I had for these two... The twins are just so difficult! Why is it so hard to find a good fit for them??

Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions? I can't quite figure out what works best for these two. Brenda, being an extrovert, should have bright colors, but she also looks nice in a more modern outfit... And Brennan, I don't know why he suddenly turned from a mini-Spencer Reid to a colorfully-dressed punk...

I think it's really obvious I need help with these two and their designs... Help??

Everything else is coming along just fine. But those twins are driving me nuts right now! I can't figure out what I want them to wear and it's killing me!!

Trying and failing to design the twins' clothes. Brenda, being an extrovert, would wear lots of bright colors, while Brennan, being an introvert, would have a more casual outfit that helps him to blend in. I can't quite decide what I want to do for these kids' outfits. Help?

I have no idea why I put burns on his nose... and elbows... and a bunch of other places. I guess it just sort of happened...

Anyway, it took forever to draw Erik, because there aren't any full-body references in any of the books, so I mostly had to free-hand from what I had. And this is the steampunk version, so it's even more difficult.

According to the ask blog's backstory, Erik lost a leg... well, not all of it. It's just everything below his right knee. It was originally gonna be the left leg, like Hiccup in HTTYD, but the right side made more sense...somehow. Yeah, I don't know. 

But now that Erik is up, the ask blog is ready to be up and running fully. Next, I'll be drawing up Dorcas Potts and Muzz Elliot. Dorcas is already steampunk as it is, especially in her goggles...

WHY AREN'T THERE ANY DECENT SHOTS OF ERIK GANGER?! He literally has NO full-body shots in ANY of the three books, and they completely changed his design from the first to the second book! His freckles are gone, he actually FITS in his clothes... WHY ARE THEY MAKING THIS SO DIFFICULT?!

Here's Saskia in steampunk. I don't know if this is over-doing it, but... it looks WAY better than I thought it would. I astound myself sometimes!

Anyway, in the backstory for the ask blog, Saskia is supposed to be more influenced by the steampunk style of clothing. Just like Erik is more influenced by the mechanics and Sadie sort of helped put two and two together. That is why Saskia is decked-out, while Sadie mostly sticks with what she knows, while adding in that steampunk flair. ;) Gosh, that sounds stupid.

I finally decided to get a new ask blog on tumblr, so I figured something about The Doppleganger Chronicles. But I've been wanting to mix in some steampunk designs in my work recently, so I figured, "why not mix the two?" So, I'll be starting an ask blog soon for a steampunk version of The DoppleGanger Chronicles' characters, Sadie, Saskia, and Eric. Though they actually LIVE in the Victorian era, I'm just gonna add a little mechanical design to the whole thing. Anyway, I added some shading to this one, too.  So, yeah, tell me what you think!  And thanks for viewing!
