‘Beyond the Deepwoods’ is a fantastic book, as is Twig’s character arc in it, and this scene (as well as the ensuing fall) was a wonderful culmination of said character arc. It’s one of my favorite scenes in the whole series, actually.

That said, it is really easy to poke fun at.
