The first drawing I went in without blocking out any of the shapes beforehand, while with the second one I blocked out the shapes and used some gesture lines

This is Sanaa. She was attending a boarding school to become a wizard but ran away to become a pirate.
She loves magic still, she just hated the environment, so she still keeps it with her. Her favorite spells are anything loud, sonic-based, and ostentatious. Real chaotic good energy.
I'm trying to get back to physical mediums to get my feet back under me after an art identity crisis thing that happened. I got a new nib pen set tho, and it's bangin, it really gives the sensitivity I was looking for. The one on the left was done with technical pens, the one on the right was done with the new nib pens.
