Its hysterical to me that when the ffxiv devs show off like weapons or gear sets instead of showing the key renders digitally they fucking print them out and hold them up to the camera so they look like shit. I'm genuine saying this is hysterical

maybe im overreacting, but with it being so many months after dt launch. i think when theres a discussion/specific post about how a lot of reactions to wuk lamat are not proper criticism, but are rather outright hate rooted in how female characters are received and transmisogyny towards the eng VA, that even gets acknowledged by yoshi-p,

i dont think its really appropriate to comment with trying to make a point that "oh well actually you see she's poorly written because of (xyz) so its okay for people not to like wuk lamat!!!". like theres a time and a place. and its not when people are trying to positively uplift a character & va due to the sheer amount of bigoted hate theyre getting.

i can't stop thinking about The Blackest Night being the main justification for making DRK self sustain so fucking bad because TBN 'too good' and they would be OP if buffed otherwise. Meanwhile they gave WAR Bloodwhetting, a literal instant win button on a 25s cooldown. WAR can solo almost all Normal content in the game. Last night i ran 2 leveling roulettes as WAR and had to solo 2 bosses from 20% health because everyone else died and had zero trouble doing so. but yes the DRK 25% health shield you can hit a couple times a minute that melts almost instantly to auto attacks and is a huge DPS loss if the shield DOESNT break is a problem to tank self sustain balance. I must laugh
