Think about it Peter Parker is a loner weirdo, nerdy, lower class, photo nerd, who takes cares of his family. Anybody else that reminds you of that?

From season 1 on Jonathan has been shown as the loner photo nerd that takes care of his family and does his best to care for and protect them. I love Joyce but especially in season 1 Jonathan totally has the oldest brother aka third parent vibes towards Will and later also El.

Anyways Jonathan Byers as Spiderman.

This post deserved more attention and I'm bringing it back because I'm still correct. Biggest point: Spider-man is poor. Always has been and always will be because its important to his story.

Edit: I already said it in the tags but for your consideration: Robin Buckley also fits the role amazingly well. (With Nancy as her perfect MJ ofc)

Here’s the thing: Steve has always looked at guys in that way. He knows they can be pretty. Knows that he likes their sharp angles and hard muscles and hint of stubble. Steve is planning a surprise party for Robin. The theme is one of her long-term hyperfixations: The Cabaret of Hell, a French cabaret known for its hellish decor. Somehow, he ends up recruiting local metalhead/ alleged "satan worshipper" Eddie Munson to help. If only Steve knew that the party would change everything he knows about his family and his understanding of just how weird Hawkins can be.

“I know demons and all that kind of stuff is your thing, so you’re probably the best guy who could’ve come out here to take a look,” Steve offers.

Eddie blinks and steps aside. “I have been known to study a dark tome of ancient wonder in my day,” he says. He just has to get through the show-and-tell. And dinner.

He just has to get through the next few hours before he can go home. Where he’ll mentally dissect the entire encounter from every angle for the foreseeable future.

“Were they hard to get,” Steve asks. At Eddie’s hum of confusion he clarifies. “The tome things. Were they hard to find?”

Unseen by Steve, Eddie furiously scrubs his hands all over his face. When he stops, he’s pink-faced and his bangs are askew. “No. I got them at Storytellers for fifteen dollars.”
