Summary: Robb receives news
"Your Grace! My Lady Stark! I bear news!" Riverrun's Maester rushed towards the chamber King Robb, Lady Catelyn, Lord Edmure and The Blackfish were making plans. As one, the family looked up and he gave a quick bow, "Your Grace, I bear a letter from the Hand of the King, Lord Tyrion Lannister; he wishes to create peace… and deliver the Lady Sansa back to her family."
Lady Catelyn stood so fast, she nearly toppled her chair. "And why is that? What has happened, Maester?"
"King Joffrey died," he watched as those present gasped and shouted their disbelief. "It seems King Joffrey had an accident, he died cutting himself on the throne."
The eyes of those in the room were very wide indeed.
"And what about Sansa, what about my daughter? And what of Arya? What of her?"
He cringed, "It seems that the Lannisters lost the Lady Arya," shouts of fury were heard all over the room. "Lord Tyrion speaks of her vanishing, but the Lady Sansa is well guarded and he wishes to send her back. He invited representatives of the North to the Keep, he swears to keep the peace and offer guest rights to negotiate."
"Robb, my son, I beg of you to send me." Lady Catelyn spoke with a firm voice, though her eyes were glazing. "Send whomever else you wish, but I wish to be reunited with Sansa, I beg of you."
"And Sansa will be inclined to speak with you better than with any of our men, save perhaps the Mormont ladies," Robb nodded. "Very well, mother, I shall permit it. Uncle Brynden, would you do me the honor of accompany mother? I shall place a strong guard and will move a regiment as close as possible, I will not take any chances."
"Aye, nephew, I shall go with my niece."
"Very well, I shall think of the honor guard. I will inform you all when the decision will be made." Robb nodded to his mother, "We will get Sansa back, mother. And we know what happened to Arya, we will make further plans."
Cersei Lannister paced the room in which her disgusting brother was keeping her. That bloody dwarf believed himself to be better than her? No. He was nothing but an abomination and she would not let Sansa Stark go. She was their only way to keep the North subdued and under her thumb.
Those savages did not know who they were treating with.
She was Cersei Lannister, daughter of Tywin and Joanna; she was the Light of the West, rightful Queen of these Seven Kingdoms and she would not be told what to do by a disgusting, mother-killing dwarf. She looked at the door and snarled, she needed to get out of here. And then, oh then, she would make them pay.
She was the Queen, after all.
She had waited far too long for her to be quiet, it was her time to rule and make her place in history by proving that she was the only child of Tywin worth speaking off. She would surpass even him. Soon enough, Tywin Lannister would only be known as her father.
And her enemies would pay.
She would be the King Joffrey never got to be. Oh her sweet child, she missed him. She loved him. He was the best part of her, but he was gone and the Gods could not bring him back.
It was up to her now. She was the Queen.
