post time skip kagehina is insane. WHAT DO YOU MEAN 2018 WINS??? keeping score since HIGH SCHOOL and through all the years they HAVEN’T BEEN TOGETHER??? THEY WAY THEY LOOK AT EACH OTHER??? they aren’t even trying to hide how much they want each other are you kidding me?? IN FRONT OF THE WORLD THEY LOOK AT EACH OTHER LIKE THEY ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO EXIST!!! no one does it like them.
the ball boy arc will always have a special place in my heart. it's a testament to shoyo's resilience. in order to become a better player, he takes opportunities, and even if he wasn't meant to be at this training camp, he broke through and made an opening for himself. his desire to learn is what sets him apart from the rest. because of this arc, we got to see a new shoyo during the inarizaki vs karasuno game with his amazing receive that slowed down the game. ball boy shoyo is so important!!!

“you can fly even higher” is better than any love confession ever written. kageyama believed in hinata’s potential & knew he was bound to become even better. he set the ball EVEN HIGHER because he knew HINATA WOULD BE THERE!! kags had faith in his partner & never doubted him. even when kenma was caging hinata in, kageyama didn’t let that change anything. if kageyama sets a toss, hinata will be right there. it’s a bond that didn’t take long to form but will last a lifetime. I LOVE KAGEHINA 😭😭

kagehina running together in official art always makes me so happy!! always running after each other, always one step behind the other, always working towards the same goal. running side by side as they become stronger together. NO LONGER ARE THEY RUNNING ALONE!! they chase their dreams knowing they will always have the other right next to them.
kagehina parallels always make me so emotional. their first set at karasuno vs the first set AT THE OLYMPICS. from two freshmen boys who discovered their first partner to two OLYMPIC PLAYERS dominating the game. they spent a few years apart, growing as individuals, only to come together and play like normal, as if all the time away never happened. KAGEHINA PRE TIMESKIP AND POST TIME SKIP ARE ALWAYS IN SYNC!! lifelong rivals and forever partners.
i’m always so happy to see kagehina in official art. i just love seeing hinata & kageyama in their element. shoyo’s big smile while looking at kageyama, kageyama talking to kenma. these two boys came from no team to now being friends with other players from different cities. they not only have karasuno but so much more now. makes me so happy!!

I always think of kagehina as dual protagonists. Hinata is obviously the main one and Tobio the deuteragonist but lately whenever there is new content furudate makes sure that each of them interact with the other characters respectively
like there will be a mention of hinata hanging out with his bestie kenma. While Kageyama consecutively would mention catching up with sugawara.
Shoyo would interact with atsm & oikw and then Tobio interact with atsuoi as well 😭 Hinata would mention natsu, then Tobio would also mention his family (although his is usually kinda bittersweet ? like them not being too involved in his vb careers but caring in their own way)

kageyama tobio being so afraid that no one will ever be there when he tosses and here comes hinata shoyo yelling "I'M HERE" breaking through all that noise. as long as kageyama is serving tosses, hinata will always be there ready for it. they complete each other.
i love kagehina so much...they remind me so much of fall...of warm hugs and comfy sweaters...of cool breezes and fallen leaves...of calm nights watching movies with friends. they are just so comforting to me. they make me so happy. this panel in particular reminds me so much of fall. it’s one of my fav kagehina moments. they are so beautiful!! m
one of the many reasons why i love kagehina so much is that they both made such an impact on each other. hinata never had a true team and was the only member, while kageyama was afraid that no one would ever be there by his side during a match. but through fate, they reunited at karasuno and helped each other become better players & people. the amount of time they spend playing and learning together will never end!!
i love when kagehina eat together in official arts. reminds me of the saying “I love you. I want us both to eat well.” it’s so comforting to see them enjoying a snack or meal together. fuel your bodies!!! grow strong!!
what i love about haikyuu is how realistic and human it is. not everyone continued with volleyball; some characters had to take longer than others to make their dreams come true, while some achieved their dreams much sooner. hinata & oikawa moved across the world to become better players and that difficult decision paid off in the end!! and some characters, like kageyama, knew what they wanted since they were kids and stayed dedicated for years. every person had their own path and dreams, and it all came true! no matter how long or short their journey was, each character achieved something great in the end. haikyuu is just so beautiul and moving, and i'm so grateful it exists!!!!
every time we get new kagehina official art i get reminded of how much furudate loves his characters. like yes, i’m super happy we got this beautiful piece of artwork but it’s also an amazing reminder that furudate feels the same way i do…to know that so many others, including the author himself love kageyama & hinata so much makes me so emotional. I LOVE HAIKYUU!!!!!
