From Volume 10 - Chapter 84 / Season 1 Episode 39. While Luffy and Sanji are ready to save Nami, and defeat those who did her wrong, Roronoa Zoro cannot be as eager to take down these chumps as we expect him to be. Unlike the rest, he recently suffered multiple nearly-fatal wounds from the greatest swordsman in the world, "Hawkeye" Mihawk, and hasn't been given enough time to recover. The others can fight with all their might, but Zoro is using all his strength just to stand. But with all that being said, can he really allow himself to lose to another swordsman so soon after making his promise to Luffy?

From Volume 79 - Chapter 795 / Season 11 Episode 739. Kid, Hawkins, and Apoo have agreed to form an alliance to take down Shanks, an Emperor of the Sea. But with the greatest misfortunate, before they can begin their plan at all, a different Emperor of the Sea lands right next to them. Surprisingly, he wasn't looking to fight them, rather his opponent was himself. In the meantime, the two share a conversation about their current situations.

While this kind of thing was expected from Luffy two years ago, the pain of failure was too costly in Sabaody Archipelago, and everybody has been training for two years to make sure they're ready for the New World, so it wouldn't happen again.

One Piece — "Is that you, mother?"

From Volume 41 - Chapter 395 / Season 5 Episode 277. A bad situation turned worse: the CP9 agents sent to investigate Ohara have begun a Buster Call, for the illegal investigation into the Void Century and its many secrets. Robin's mother, Olvia, attempted to stop them, but ended up captured. As the poor, heartbroken child sees her mother taken away once more, she risks everything for one last chance to see her.

From Volume 99 - Chapter 1001 / Season 14 Episode 1016. Luffy has reached the rooftop of Onigashima, and to everybody's surprise, he strikes the first blow! Just a couple weeks ago, it didn't matter if Luffy hit Kaido as hard as he could, and it didn't matter if Kaido was drunk out of his mind, nothing Luffy did could hurt him, and he knocked Luffy out in one swift blow. But things are different now. Who did he train with? And what's he trying to accomplish?

And while Usopp and Chopper aren't the most fearsome of the crew, they can't fail their friends. Not just Vivi, but Luffy too! As Miss Merry Christmas laughs at the idea of Luffy becoming Pirate King, Usopp can't just lose!!

From Volume 59 - Chapter 579 / Season 8 Episode 488. The Whitebeard have suffered a crushing defeat, with the death of their captain and Luffy's brother, the Marines take advantage of their retreat, killing as many as they can. But Koby can't stand to see this senseless bloodshed, and stands up to an Admiral, at the risk of his life.
