Kakuzu as a primordial god. <3 (Part 1 of the Naruto Gods series)

So, every decade, Takigakure offers up a virgin sacrifice to atone for some wrong that was perpetrated against the primordial god of destruction, Kakuzu, before written history. No one knows why they do it, and Kakuzu has no idea why they insist on it being a virgin, but they both just accept it and carry on. One day, Takigakure captures Hidan and gets the great idea of offering him up as the sacrifice. They get rid of a homicidal maniac, the crazy primordial god gets his heart, and everyone wins.

The thing is, Hidan survives the whole debacle—on account of being, you know, a Jashin-blessed immortal—and stews for the next decade, royally pissed off at how Kuzu slandered Jashin during the ritual. He marches back to Takigakure each sacrifice day and insists on being the offering.

He has a fucking bone to pick with that Jashin-hating asshole.

Kakuzu is so done.
