PREDACON POUNCE!
One downside to being so small with something so much larger pouncing at you (well, beings it’s not someone you wanted to hurt–) is that it made avoiding it that much more difficult. Servos fly up, stopping half way to his swords as he forced himself to not impulsively lash out. Instead acting as if his servos alone were going to keep him from promptly getting smooshed.
They… didn’t.
It was a very good thing the gaint predacon knew her mass. Yes she was lucky, but thankfully her forepaws hit the ground on either side of Drift's frame. The impact that happened was more from the flat of her head, on the top away from the horns, smacking into him. Hard enough to knock over?
Yes.
Hard enough to really hurt?
No more then some smarting, not even any dents!
Wrrrfff

*Scratch scratch*
Dragon Drift is currently rolling around and making chuffing noises in some pebbles and hot sand trying to knock old scales loose
He looks ridiculous.
Gosh he’s cute. Drift continued making a few faces and chirps at him, delighted at the little ones display.
He wanted to offer the little family a gift, but had not been expecting seeing anyone, and was unprepared. Instead he turned to the big female, beckoned her to follow. He’d show her a nice fishing place nearby to get a meal for them both.
Ice Queen tilted her head, so far pleased no one was trying anything. She blinked at the offer and stayed out long enough for Racer to climb down and run around her….yeah he was awake and full of energy now, daring to take swipes at tails of both of the adults.
Drift playfully snapped and feigned injury at the energetic little one, happy to play along.
Drift lead them to a part of the river he’d been altering for ages. Making a nice pool that circled on the side, encouraging fish to gather. There he showed off how it worked, jumping into the narrow opening and plodding slowly into the pool. Trapping fish in a small corner and stabbing at one with his bladed tail tip before flipping it over to his guest and trying to stab another one.
Racer glanced back up at his mother, and getting a soft chuff bounded right on over. He hit the flipped up fish in a full on tackle, rolling over it and almost loosing the wiggling thing. Wrestling with the thing with all the enthusiasm of one who didn’t know how to hunt yet. Ice Queen chuckled, she was not really hungry, but would not pass an offer over. Not wanting to be rude as this stranger was being kind to offer Racer a meal. she sniffed and scented around the pleasant place settling to lay down, tucking her limbs up into a big dragonic loaf, humming started to show that she liked the place.

Current Chapter
There was a slight hesitation at her name, before the infected predacon snarled. She stalked a little closer, steps hitching a little as if off balance while the tail lashed and half dragged against the ground.
There was something distinctly... hungry about her. Starved for something, and between each step the Predacon was panting, desperately trying to cool her internal systems. Ice Queen was well named, as she handles cold better then heat. If drift could get a scanner or visual reading he would be able to see that the predacon was running ten times hotter then what was considered normal.
Making use of her longer neck, the predacon lunged forward, jaws snapping at Drift.
Wow, robot in water
um.... yes please.
I absolutely love ships where one character is usually serious and distant, but when they talk to that one person, their voice turns soft and gentle and is suddenly filled with fondness that they don’t show to anyone else.
Yeah I love that too.
