I didn’t leave my house for months, and uh- this friend of my dad’s, he’s uh- he’s like an uncle to me. He uh- he helped me out; he gave me a purpose. He told me that… that what I was good at there could be useful here, and uh- it’s a job, you know? The money’s good, and uh, these people I take out, like they’re… they’re bad people, you know? Like they’re pieces of shit. Um. But lately, you know, I’ve - I’m not sleeping and uh… the depressed feeling is back, you know? Like.. like I know there’s more to me than that… But maybe, I don’t know… maybe there’s not. Maybe this is all I’m good at, I don’t know. Anyway, forget it. Sorry to bother you.

so FYI, there was a rumor going around this weekend that Great News was cancelled by NBC. I’ve only seen it reported by this website that I’ve never heard of, but I guess it’s not all that surprising. (I’m really not going to believe anything until I hear it from THR or Deadline, but this is definitely something I’m not taking lightly).
Is it too late? I don’t know. NBC in the past year has cancelled stuff, and then turned around completely because of FAN RESPONSE! So it’s really really important to keep saying you love the show and want it to return.
I’m not sure if there’s still hope, but if everyone can help me tonight and tomorrow by tweeting about the show and asking NBC to renew it by doing the following:

Slight AU
Hi everyone,
This is something I’ve actually been working on putting together since the end of season 1, so the story will be pretty AU, since season 2 has progressed a bit more quickly through Katie and Greg’s relationship than I ever anticipated. I’ve rewritten a lot of it based on this season, but I also want them to be a little bit more of a slow burn than the actual show. I hope you enjoy.
P.S. All of my details about St. Wiggin’s Day are completely random so please don’t take it to seriously or judge it too harsh. :)

It was announced today that the streaming giant picked up Big Mouth, an “edgy, surreal” animated series from Kroll and Family Guy writer Andrew Goldberg. The comedy is about two teens, Andrew (Mulaney) and Nick (Kroll), and their “adventures in puberty,” which also describes how I felt the first time I saw Elisabeth Shue in Adventures In Babysitting.
“There are few things that keep me up at night… Nick Kroll’s adventures in puberty is one of them, so we greenlit this series with very few questions asked,” said Cindy Holland, Netflix vice president of original content.
“Andrew and I have been best friends since 1st grade, so this show is over 30 years in the making. I can’t wait to tell all the stories that make up the glorious nightmare of puberty,” commented Nick Kroll.
