Lost in the Forest

One day a boy took a walk

Through a forest.

There were paths laid out for him

But he chose to make his own.

Through the darkness he stumbled lost

Only hearing the unsupportive whispers of trees.

Not fearing the uncertainty

He continued with nothing but a fools hope.

As he broke through the last tree into a clearing,

He realized this was only just the beginning.
