20 years ago Lilia Podkopayeva became the Olympic All Around Champion at the Games of the XXVI Olympiad in Atlanta, USA. Her eponymous front double tuck ½ is still one of the most unique and rare floor tumbling passes.

“Oh, you know, the one where that gymnast time travels, changes names, bodies, nationalities and leotards seven times, and conjures weird circles and lines out of thin air to jazz music.”

Aw, Lilia Podkopayeva watched Oleg at American Cup today. Not only a fellow Ukrainian Olympic Champion, but both are also from Donetsk.
I didn’t realize Podkopayeva was from Donetsk too.
