"Manufacturers - Marshall & Philp , 179 Union St., Aberdeen.” Dodge & Zuill were an American firm and it is possible Marshall & Philp did manufacture these machines in Scotland under licence, but it seems slightly more likely their role was that of manufacturer’s agent/distributor/importer. Perhaps they assembled the machines from imported components(?) . no date [c. 1910]“
