What if instead...13x12
Penelope: We have another case. I can imagine you are in sweet company, right now, and I’m so sorry, but Emily wants the whole team. Tell Lisa it’s my fault.
Luke [sighing and smiling]
Lisa: What’s up? Let me guess. You have to go because there is a case.
Luke: Yes, I’m sorry, Lisa.
Lisa: I know, I understand. [after a while] That text… was from your colourful colleague, Garcia?
Luke: Yeah. Why?
Lisa: Do you think she will be jealous if we stay in touching for a couple of nights like this one? I like to beat you on billiard.
Luke: What… what you mean?
Lisa: You should tell her what you feel. Really.
Luke: I don’t know what you are talking about. I told you, we are just co-workers.
Lisa: Luke. I thought you were different. I saw the way you smiled just reading her text.
Luke: I… you saw her, she is so… It’s almost impossible not smiling when she is around.
Lisa: Yeah, I can imagine. She said you are a great guy and good to see, even if you aren’t her type.
Luke [trying to hide his sadness]: She said that? I should have expected this.
Lisa: You really believe it? Aren’t you a profiler? She said that, because: first, she is sweet and the right opposite of a selfish person, she wants your happiness instead of her own; and second, she thinks the same as you, that you will never see her like something more than a coworker. You two are a perfect match.
Luke: Lisa, I don’t know what to say…
Lisa: Just say that you will talk with her and… if you have a friend that is not mentally busy… just remember I’m here. [they laugh]
[Later, at the BAU]
Luke: Penelope, Lisa has a message for you. [he kisses her]
Penelope: I don’t know what it’s happening, but thank her for me.
