Ok it’s 1am but just really want to make a post about my thoughts

I get where people who are upset about the last 2 episodes are coming from. I know watching a show with boba in the title and him not appearing two times in a row is disappointing. But tbobf was always going to be connected to the mandalorian. It’s been stated multiple times that it is a mando season 2.5. I think boba is an essential character to din’s journey, and din is important for boba’s as well. Merging these two stories makes sense for leading into mando season 3, and I’m positive boba and fennec are going to be important reoccurring characters in that as well. I do wish that tbobf had more episodes to explore more with boba, but it’s “a volume within a larger tome.” It’s ok to be frustrated when something isn’t going how you expected, but this was always how tbobf was going to fit into the mandalorian story.

Also, I kind of feel like people have forgotten how to watch a serial show. You aren’t going to get clear answers in every episode!!!! Sometimes things may seem one way but will be revealed later on to be different. Luke making grogu choose between a life with mando and a life as a Jedi comes off as him trying to keep grogu away from attachment, but it could also be a way for Luke to understand more of what grogu is feeling, how much he has bonded with din and that he’s important to him no matter what. And maybe thats what Luke wants, for grogu to choose the person who he’s grown closest to, and still be able to be a force user, still be able to live as a force user and in a mandalorian clan. He mentioned that it was more like grogu was remembering rather than learning, and I think that weighed in to Luke wanting him to choose. Grogu has learned Jedi ways in his life, he doesn’t need much more from Luke, and he knows that now that he is remembering, he can use these skills while still being with din.
