When I listened to this song, I can just imagine Gwaine singing it to Arthur while they’re in heaven as angels with Lancelot, Elyan, Will, Freya and Mordred - they let him into heaven because he was cute - and everyone else who died in the show (who were good.) Idk, this song really made me feel better about the whole situation. Especially trying to imagine Gwaine’s attempts to get Arthur to smile like he always does. Forever the clown Gwaine, even in death.
Gwaine: See you finally made it Arthur!
Arthur: Where the hell am I?
Gwaine: Heaven of course. We’re all here.
Arthur: Oh I see…hello Elyan, Lancelot.
Elyan: Hello Arthur
Lancelot: Long time no see. Oh and erm…about the Gwen thing…no hard feelings?
Arthur: Suppose not. Wait a minute, what is he doing here?
Mordred: They let me into heaven because I was cute *grins* and don’t worry, I’m not mad at you anymore. We’re equal now *Pokes at stab mark in his stomach*
Arthur: Is Morgana here too?
Lancelot: She’s downstairs in the other place.
Arthur: Good. You alright there Will?
Will: Oh, hey Arthur. Merlin alright?
Arthur: Um…the last thing I remember is him screaming…
Will: Poor baby.
Arthur: I miss him.
Mordred: I miss him too…
Arthur: Shut up Mordred.
*Awkward silence*
Gwaine: C’mon Arthur, cheer up. I know we’re all dead and all but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a good time.
Mordred: *to himself* I miss my baby Emrys…
Gwaine: I mean, we have wings and halo’s now!
Arthur: So what?
Gwaine: So what? So let’s sing about it!
I am now okay with the deaths in Merlin because technically speaking, everyone died at the end except Merlin because 1000 or so years time skip. Now I just need to convince myself Gwaine didn't really die thinking he was a failure. Help.

I just watched this week's episode of Merlin. I don't even have words for what it's put me through. What really bugged me was Arthur at the end though. He's all confused and shit and it's like, uhh, he's closer to Kara than he is to you. You mean fuck all comparatively. You killed his girlfriend. Do you expect him to be okay with that? If it was Gwen in that situation, he'd do the same thing. And that brings us to Merlin. He's changed, man. I'm not sure I like who he's become. Nice one for driving Mordred away. Though that can be attributed considerably to Arthur too. THE LOOK IN THE CELL BETWEEN LEON AND MORDRED THOUGH ;____; Then there's Kara. She was silly for attacking Arthur. That was unnecessary. However, I get why she wouldn't 'repent' and I respect her honesty even if her anger was slightly misplaced. I kinda wish for Mordred's sake she had just given in. And I wish we could have seen more of her. Just. Ugh. This episode was horrible. Fuck's sake, Arthur. You're the King. Your word is law. WAKE UP.
