If you’re European, in a couple of weeks you will be denied any and all access to fandom contents on Tumblr and everywhere else on the internet. Here’s why.

On June, 20th the JURI of European Parliament approved of the articles 11 and 13 of the new Copyright Law. These articles are also known as the “Link Tax” and the “Censorship Machines” articles.

Articles 13 in particular forces every internet platform to filter all the contents we upload online, ending once and for all the fandom culture. Which means you won’t be able to upload any type of fandom works like fan arts, fan fictions, gif sets from your favourite films and series, edits, because it’s all copyrighted material. And you won’t also be able to share, enjoy or download other’s contents, because the use of links will be completely restricted.

But not everything’s lost yet. There’s another round of voting scheduled for the early days of July.

What you can do now to save our internet, is to share these informations with all of your family members and friends, and to ask to your MEP (the members of the European Parliament from your country) to vote NO at the next round, to vote against articles 11 and 13.

I hope this message is well-received because I think that as a community wlw deserve a lot better than what our Supergirl showed us today. ♡

Like I’m not even in the fandom and I’m here shaking my head in bewilderment. Like this girl isn’t asking for anything, but if they actually sue this 19 y/o kid I will 100% chip in a few bucks for her legal fund… but they’d be total idiots to even try.

Imagine how shitty someone has to be to tell a young queer girl, upset and hurt by the gross homophobic behaviour you just engaged in, that your gonna sue her if she doesn’t say your the Best Ally Ever ._.

OK, this is not my fandom; I don’t watch this show – but what in the absolute fuck. The OP (and the fanbase overall) deserves so much better than the initial gross action she wrote in about. And she most fucking certainly deserves better than this awful fucking travesty of a bullshit response.

I went to the archive at my university and found a copy of Neruda’s memoirs. I read through it this morning and scanned the chapter in which the rape account is contained. I have uploaded the entire chapter for additional resource, and the passage in question can be found in chapter 4 on pages 99-100 of the actual document, or pages 23-24 of the attached pdf. i’m so sick of seeing people get hate or get laughed and made fun of by specific portions of the fandom because they don’t like L*ura Barton or don’t agree with Clint’s aou subplot.

The majority of people doing that are people whose favorite isn’t Clint so they never really cared in the first place, so it’s not a big deal to them, but to Clint fans, it’s a huge deal. And it has little to nothing to do with the Clint/Natasha ship.

Wanna know why I DO NOT like the Barton family subplot, well, here it is [I also talked about it in THIS ask]

The Clint Barton that Clint fans want and relate to isn’t someone who has their life together perfectly. It’s a guy who tries his hardest to be a great guy and a great hero even though he’s constantly kicked down. He’s a guy that’s human and shows that you can be human and still save people. 

So, if you like the Barton family and that storyline, good for you, but he’s probably not your favorite Avenger, which gives you no right to be an asshole towards the people who do favor him.
