You ate the food I made and grew so tall. You have no idea how proud I was of you. Du-sik, do you remember what you said to me? You said that the best thing a parent can do for their child is staying healthy. It's the same with parents. It tears our hearts out when our children are in pain. Du-sik you are my son, and also my grand-son. Don't you ever forget that. Du-sik, people should live among other people. Life may seem like a burden to you at times, but if you chose to be among others, just like you did for me. Someone will carry you on their back. So Du-sik stop locking yourself up in your house, eat the food I made and come to see us.

i’ve seen a lot of people talking about how du-sik’s story was a bit…. Lesser than what they expected….

Have you guys even watched the show? do you not remember the line in the show that somewhat goes “what seems easy for you may not be easy for others”

with du-sik, it started with his grandfather, his parents actually, he has that deep rooted trauma that everyone he cares about, leaves. and this just gets more reinforced with the loss of his hyung.

Invalidating someone’s trauma is not cool, thats not giving your “opinion” cause if it is not your trauma, not your baggage to deal with, you dont get to speak on it.
