I'm so excited

I do think I'm going to start posting a few of my fave screenshots from Return but I'm going to keep them pretty non-spoilery? so they should only really be spoilers if you're still trying to keep from knowing ANYthing about the game

after avoiding it for 2 and a half years I finally got COVID on like the same day that Return to Monkey Island came out. I had a relatively mild case but it knocked my vaxxed butt sideways for about two weeks and LUCKILY I had this game

I am always very, VERY skeptical of sequels, reboots, etc. and was really sort of concerned except for the fact that Dominic Armato has been SO excited about it from the first announcement and I trust that man. I TRUST HIM

and he was right. I am so very grateful that for the ten days I was shut up in my room fighting a deadly pathogen, I was only sort of alone because I had this game and it was so good. What an absolute gift to us all & I want to live on Scurvy Island

Keeping it spoiler free here but I'm abt 2.3 hours in and just wanted to say I'm so happy and it's so fun and so good

I would do ANYTHING for this
