I just realized the last page of Batman: Dark Age is the freaking meme
Just with, you know, a giant Wonder Woman looming in the sky.
I just realized the last page of Batman: Dark Age is the freaking meme
Just with, you know, a giant Wonder Woman looming in the sky.
So in Superman: Space Age #3, Mark Russell had Batman and Joker die in a murder-suicide on their first encounter.
And in Batman: Dark Age #6, he does basically the opposite!
There is a fake out first. In Batman: Dark Age, an elderly Bruce is thinking back on the past as part of managing memory loss, and he remembers a night when a beleaguered comedian-turned-terrorist set Wayne Tower on fire.
This Joker is someone Bruce previously hadn't had many close encounters with in his memories, so I saw this as mere crumbs.
AND THEN I KEPT READING
Get in, loser, we're old man batjokes!
Joker recaps what actually happened after the tower burned, which includes the world ending and Superman putting Gotham into a jar like Kandor, blah blah blah, and then back to Joker and Bruce.
The End with Joker and Bruce both living at Wayne Manors, buddies at an old folks home, Bruce made Joker want to LIVE, oh my god.
And then I was like, WAIT, this reveal means I must go back, and there is MORE!
From Batman: Dark Age #1:
Cranky old man banter.
Then in Batman: Dark Age #4:
SWIM CLASS TOGETHER
Er, like I said, Bruce is dealing with some stuff. He's fine! He's fine! Joker is keeping an eye on him!
But yeah, this was a fun read today. :)
Please don't ask me about the rest of the story apologies to Mr. Russell I was there for one thing
everytime a fanartist makes Joker a tumblr sexyman twink and not a) disgusting shrivelled up husk of a man or b) evil disney-villain-esque campy guy an angel somewhere dies.
Deadly Duo was great, but it did not have this level of shenanigans.
[Batman vs The Incredible Hulk (aka DC Special Series #27)]
Yes, in this team-up, Bruce takes a cue from Frankenstein and pretends to be a blind man to convince Hulk that going with Joker will harness the power of friendship.
Well, the way Robin Lives! ends in #4 sure is... something. But at least the batjokes fans will always have this marriage proposal.
吗呀这边怎么还有好多没吃过的饭,,爬来吃口,,不知道发啥于是放一下之前发过的…不太会用这个软件感觉好炫酷…
