Eddie sighs all content and warm and safe and takes the best nap of his life while thinking 'I really get to have this. I get to be protected and cherished and cared for. I'm home '.

Eddie punched a man in a parking lot for being a dick over a parking spot. He snarked at the racist who didn’t want Hen or Chimney to treat him. He committed verbal and psychological warfare against Bobby when Bobby wouldn’t let him return to the 118 for good reason. He routinely gives his parents the business.

Eddie’s default is to choose violence and when someone goes low, he goes to Hell. You can’t possibly think he’d ever side with the bigot over the rest of the 118 lmao 😂

911 keeps reinforcing that eddie believes in the idea of romantic love so much, like he truly is a romantic at heart. he believes in the butterflies and the magic and the staring at someone for hours and the feeling so incredibly happy to be near them and the forever. and yet we haven’t seen him experience any of that at all. we’ve heard about it being like that with shannon at first (and still it’s only through eddie’s late romanticizing of their relationship) but we didn’t see it with her, and it sure wasn’t like that with ana, and it wasn’t like that with marisol.
