listen. it's totally understandable for chloe to doubt if lucifer loves her the way she loves him. you cannot forget that she still doesn't have the full picture. in season two he disappeared after she almost died and married someone else. she STILL thinks that. when he came back he tells her theyre just friends and this clearly still hurts her. i think she knows he loves her but i don't think she understands the gravity of it because until now he has had a very hard time expressing love and also actively pushing her away. we know things as an audience that she doesn't. despite all of that she still has so much faith in him but she also feels like maybe she isn't enough for him because she isn't "special." they're both insecure about being good enough for the other because of the years of miscommunication they have had.
