People who think sheep are killed for their wool are so hilarious to me. Does your barber slit your throat whenever you get a haircut?? Are you a returning customer to Sweeney Todd? Lmao it grows back, fools.

This is completely ignoring the fact that the sheep's soul is stored in its wool. So sure, the body remains, but the spirit, the essence of the sheep, that's gone forever, and then as the wool regrows a new soul moves in.

Lena was too cozy to open her eyes. Do friends really do this?

She breathed in the familiar scent wrapped around her, the faded shea butter and vanilla of Kara’s soap. Warm arms held her as the blonde breathed gently next to her. She hadn’t been sure whether to accept Kara’s offer to stay over after movie night ran late - but still aching from Kara’s time in the phantom zone, she did. And she was glad, if only to have this moment.

Her eyes fluttered open, observing the dim light that glowed through Kara’s window, hinting at a dawn that would soon come. Lena snuggled closer to the woman next to her, feeling Kara’s fingers grip slightly at her side. Though calm and cozy, she felt the slight uptick of her heartbeat, and wasn’t surprised when the blonde shifted and began coming to.

Kara opened her eyes, observing the woman in her arms. Kara seemed surprised at their predicament, tangled in one another in their night of sleep - her face nuzzled into Lena’s hair, a hand almost possessively on Lena’s thigh. It was intimate and surprising, and for a moment Kara didn’t seem to know what to do. “Is this ok?” the kryptonian whispered sheepishly.

“Yes,” Lena said, snuggling in further.

Kara seemed to relax as they both curled up again, closing their eyes and simply feeling each other’s presence. Too lazy to get up quite yet, happy to doze in each other’s arms.

But Lena felt the shift in Kara’s posture again - tense, even if almost imperceptible. Kara’s face was still buried in her hair, but she could sense Kara nervously bite her lip. But she waited patiently.

“I have feelings for you,” Kara finally said, her voice soft and shy. “I just want you to know.”

Lena froze in surprise for a moment, before smiling. She tugged closer to Kara, burying her head shyly in Kara’s shoulder. “I want to wake up with you every morning.”

Kara gave a small laugh, as Lena’s fingers weaved their way through hers. They held each other close, feeling the warmth of each other’s arms. There would be time later, to explore their feelings, to explore each other.

But for the moment, they were content to hold each other close, and drift back to sleep.
