Finally getting around to sharing this and I am SO EXCITED

I commissioned @barelyaware to do this drawing based on this photo of Jensen Ackles and Danneel Harris and I couldn't be happier. The beautiful clothing designs, all the little details of their accessories (matching earrings, betrothal necklace, Sokka's hair beads), their EXPRESSIONS! I love the way Suki's eyes are just glowing, and that exuberant smile on Sokka's face. And of course the utterly precious baby bump and how fabulous and adorable Suki looks in that dress. The whole thing is just so, so sweet and puts a huge smile on my face every time I look at it. They both look so proud and happy. 😭

I just came back and saw @sukkaweek on my dash and needed to join, even tho im a week late

I really like Sukka, so when I realized I hadn't drawn anything for them (well, drawn anything that I was happy enough with to share) I knew I'd have to fix that. I'm not as used to drawing them as I am Zuko and Katara, so I'll need to practice them more before I'm totally happy with their designs.

Sokka and Suki are by far the best canon couple in AtLA, and I'll never forgive how LoK did them so dirty. Luckily, in my personal canonverse they're happily married. They and their kids are often on the go - working in Republic City, popping over to the Fire Nation to visit Zuko, Katara, and their kids, seeing Aang and his family on Air Temple Island, catching up with Toph, and spending time on Kyoshi Island and in the South Pole.
