That moment when you’re at a party and it’s getting late and the bugs are coming out and it’s getting chilly but everyone is just now getting lit but you’re a kid and it’s getting close to your bedtime so you sit and listen to the wind outside, to the faint sound of laughter 🥺
Gohan is a kid surrounded by adults who lived full lives before him and shared memories together and went on adventures and bonded. I’m sure they want to exchange stories over some beer. But Gohan can’t relate to any of them, and he’s just a kid, so him and Turtle sit outside together. Turtle is also very old and probably not a big party person. They keep each other company and Gohan listens to Turtle’s own stories and nuggets of wisdom while they eventually fall asleep to the sunset 🥺
