Triple Frontier AU
Vampire!Santi x Werewolf!Benny
I got bored while waiting for 2022 and the only thing I had to distract myself was my phone and my imagination.
I guess this is a prologue of my Enchanted Frontier fic that I’m planning to write.
This is how Santi and Benny meet and become mates.
This wasn’t supposed to be so long but I was inspired and couldn’t stop. I have no idea how long this is. It’s not proof read, I’ll re write in on my laptop later.
Warning: for nudity and injury and blood.
Idk how to add a “read more” button on mobile so, sorry about the long post.
Santi running around the forest during a full moon, chasing after an unfamiliar scent that is driving him crazy. It’s not human but it’s not an animal either. It smells like a wolf… and something else.
Eventually he finds the source of the delicious scent. A blond, tall man with a strong figure is lying naked on the wet leaves of the cold ground of the woods. He’s hurt. A bleeding wound on his size. A beast is fighting a few feet from him. Two men dressed in black are attacking him with weapons made of irons. Hunters. And werewolves.
The handsome blond man was too hurt to keep in his wolf form and he must’ve turned back into his human body.
The wolf must have cared deeply for him as he braved the two hunters on his own, trying to keep them away from the dying man.
Santi killed one of the hunters that was about to shoot an arrow and kill the beast. The surprising attack distracted the other one and it allowed the wolf to attack and kill him.
Santi used his supernatural speed to return to the wounded man. He smelled of a warm summer night, his blood burning his throat as it vanished in the earth.
The wolf growled a warning. Santi raised his hands, a silent way to show he meant no harm.
The man looked up at the vampire. His clear blue eyes dark with fear… and need. He smelled him too. Santi’s scent. Cold and unwelcoming… and yet he could smell the loneliness and the desire. He knew what it was, what it meant. He had heard about since he was a child. Wolves called it a mate.
A bond in both cases. Respected among the wolves. Feared among the vampires.
A vampire’s mate was like their slave. Often used for blood, and sex, there was no love in that relationship. It was a one way deal. The human often didn’t have much of a choice. But the werewolves, they both felt it. Both wanted it. They would die for the other. They would rather die than be apart.
Santi was confused as he watched his mate suffer before him. He was dying and he could stop it. But would a werewolf accept his blood? Would a werewolf accept the help of a vampire.
He brought his hand to his cheek, his fingertips leaving a cold trail on his skin as he ran them across his jaw.
“What’s your name?” he asked softly.
“You’re dying, Benny,” he said flatly.
The fear in the werewolves’ eyes would have made any vampire satisfied. But not Santi. Although he didn’t care about other people, he didn’t find other’s pain entertaining. That was why he stayed away from his kind, and other people.
The wolf was watching the vampire carefully, debating if he should rip the vampire’s head from his body. But he had just helped him, he had come to their rescue, in fact.
“I can help you,” Santi told him as he ran a hand through his blond hair. “Do you want me to help?”
Santi leaned forward and brushed his nose against his throat. The wolf growled another warning as he stepped forward, but the vampire ignored it.
“Do you know what that means? Do you know what this means?” he whispered in the wolf’s ear, his fingertips caressing his bare skin as his moved his hand down his strong chest.
Benny swallowed with difficulty as he squeezed his eyes closed. Yes, he knew. And he was afraid the choice he had to make was between death, or death.
“You will be mine, wolf. Can you make that choice and live by it?”
“And you… will be mine,” Benny coughed, drops of blood sliding off his chin. “Deal?” he asked with what he meant to be a smirk.
Santi arched an eyebrow. Even dying the wolf wanted to play with the vampire. Santi chuckled.
He brought his wrist to his mouth and bit. He sat Benny up and moved behind him. The werewolf leaned back against the vampire’s chest as he brought his wrist to his mouth.
The wolf huffed. Not of disapproval as he would never pretend to tell his brother what to do. Not of disappointment as he would never be disappointed in his brother. Perhaps of sadness. As he was leaving his life behind. For now there were linked to a vampire, they could not return home.
“Good boy,” Santi whispered low enough the wolf didn’t hear it.
Benny moaned. The vampire’s blood tasted better than whine. It warmed his entire body, took away the pain, closed his wound. It was addictive. Santi had to remove his wrist with a bit of force from Benny’s mouth.
“You’ll have enough time to taste me later.”
“Please, don’t,” the wolf who had just turned back into a man said from above.
He was standing bare before them, his hands on his hips, his long hair falling on his face.
“This is Will, my brother.”
“Thanks for the help,” Will nodded.
Will held out his hand to his brother who took it. The vampire needed no help to get back onto his feet.
“You have a… cavern you sleep in during the day?” Will ask.
A low chuckle escaped Santi.
“My estate is a few miles away.”
“My name is Santiago Garcia. I live in Caladan Castle.”
“Caladan Castle?” Will repeated.
“Count Garcia was my father. I’m Santiago. My friends call me Santi.”
“Your friends call you Pope,” a voice echoed in the silent forest.
A man appeared behind them. He seemed out of breath.
“What took you so long?” Santi asked mockingly.
“Who are you?” Will asked.
“Who are you? And why are you naked?”
“This is Will,” Santi said. “His brother, Benny. My mate.”
“Fuck off, I didn’t take that long.”
“What did you do with the horses, Fish?”
“Fish?” Will raised an eyebrow.
“My name is Frankie, and the horses went home. They smelled your new friends and abandoned me.”
“Horses don’t like wolves much,” Will admitted.
“Werewolves,” Frankie scoffed. “This is gonna be fun.”
“Let’s go then. Let’s see that castle.”
Will bent over and turned back into a beast. Frankie stepped back at the sight of the giant wolf. He gave a curious look to Santi who just gave him a smirk as he shrugged.
“I’ll be faster as a wolf,” Benny told Santi.
The vampire turned back towards his mate. He placed a hand on the back of his head and brought his forehead to his. Benny closed his eyes as he inhaled Santi’s scent. A growl escaped him.
